Abstract: A method for determining an operation to be performed for an object identified by a device, and an apparatus therefor are disclosed. In one embodiment, the method includes generating representative identification information of the terminal, transmitting, to a server, user information including the representative identification information of the terminal, and advertising the representative identification information of the terminal. According to another embodiment, a service receiver and a service provider can use all available services even while minimizing requirements that must be fulfilled. The present disclosure may be directed to a technology for a sensor network, machine to machine communication, machine type communication and Internet of things. The present disclosure may be applied to intelligent services (related to a smart home, a smart building, a smart city, a smart car or a connected car, healthcare, digital education, retail business, security, safety, and the like) on the basis of the technology.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a process and a method for determining an operation to be performed for an object identified by a device.
