摘要: A client device includes a memory comprising a buffer for buffering data having real-time constraints and a hardware-based processor comprising digital logic circuitry. The processor is configured to execute a real-time application configured to determine times during which the data will be available for download, determine a time at which the data is needed to prevent a buffer underrun for the buffer, and when the data is available, send a request for the data and deadline information representative of the time at which the data is needed to avoid the buffer underrun. In this manner, a sending device can prioritize delivery of the requested data to prevent the buffer underrun for the client device.

摘要: System and method for dynamically managing message flow. According to the example embodiments, an intermediary network device or a client device dynamically manages the flow of messages received from an electronic exchange by analyzing the client device's capabilities, such as CPU utilization. Based on a percentage of total CPU utilization, the level of throttling is dynamically adjusted, such that if the percentage of CPU utilization, or load, increases, then throttling is increased from a lower level to a higher level. Similarly, if the percentage of CPU utilization decreases significantly enough, then throttling is decreased to a lower level.

摘要: Methods, apparatus, and computer-accessible storage media for controlling export of snapshots to external networks in service provider environments. Methods are described that may be used to prevent customers of a service provider from downloading snapshots of volumes, such as boot images created by the service provider or provided by third parties, to which the customer does not have the appropriate rights. A request may be received from a user to access one or more snapshots, for example a request to export the snapshot or a request for a listing of snapshots. For each snapshot, the service provider may determine if the user has rights to the snapshot, for example by checking a manifest for the snapshot to see if entries in the snapshot manifest belong to an account other than the customer's. If the user has rights to the snapshot, the request is granted; otherwise, the request is not granted.

摘要: A reception apparatus includes reception circuitry and decoding circuitry. The reception receives a signal including a legacy header field, an enhanced directional multi-gigabit (EDMG) header field, and a data field. The decoding circuitry decodes data included in the data field of the received signal. The legacy header field includes a Length field comprising multiple bits. The reception apparatus is an EDMG terminal, and a subset of the multiple bits of the Length field included in the legacy header field is used to indicate bandwidth over which the signal is transmitted. Remaining bits of the Length field included in the legacy header field are used to indicate data length of the received signal.

摘要: Methods and systems for transmitting and receiving data, such as, for example, entertainment data, are presented. In one example, a data file is segmented into a plurality of data modules. A header is generated for each of the data modules, with the header including a module identifier for the data module associated with the header. An indication of a number of the plurality of data modules associated with the data file, and at least one multicast address from which the plurality of modules may be received via a multicast transmission, are generated and transmitted. The data modules with their associated headers are transmitted over a communication network in the multicast transmission.

摘要: A serverless computing-based, continuous gateway watch of a data store for data change process is provided. The process includes the gateway interface of the computing environment receiving a watch request from a user system to monitor the data store for data change. Based on receiving the watch request, the gateway interface invokes a serverless setup service to establish a connection between the gateway interface and the data store of the computing environment to be monitored for data change. Based on receiving, at the gateway interface, a data change indication from the data store, the gateway interface invokes a serverless message process service to mutate the data change indication from the data store into a mutated data change message indicative of a data change at the data store for return to the user system pursuant to the watch request, with the serverless message process service terminating thereafter.
