Abstract: An electronic device is provided that includes a flexible display having a deformable form, a processor electrically connected to the display, and a memory electrically connected to the processor, and the processor is configured to display a notification object that provides notification about an existence of information, which is to be displayed on at least a part of a second area of the display expanded according to deformation of the display when an event occurs, on a first area corresponding to an area before expansion of the display.
