Abstract: A device management method and apparatus is provided for managing electronic devices through wireless communication. A device management method of a first device having a list of wireless communication-enabled devices according to the present disclosure includes transmitting a first message requesting second device information, when it is necessary to check connection status of a second device performing wireless communication with the devices contained in the list, comparing the second device previously stored information and the second device information contained in the second message, when a second message including the second device information is received in response to the first message, and transmitting a recovery command message with the first device information, when the second device information included in the second message differs from the previously stored second device information.

Abstract: An in-home relay device according to various embodiments may comprise: a housing; an antenna provided in the housing; an antenna alignment unit including a motor and/or circuitry for changing the position of the antenna so as to change the radiation direction of the antenna; a processor operatively connected to the antenna and the antenna alignment unit; and a communication unit including communication circuitry electrically connected to the processor and configured to wirelessly connect to external electronic devices, wherein the processor may be configured to: control the antenna alignment unit based on the quality of signals transmitted or received through the antenna to secure a line of sight (LOS) between the antenna and a repeater.

Abstract: A method and a user terminal for establishing a connection between the user terminal and a content server are provided. The method includes receiving, at the user terminal, a domain name server (DNS) response including addresses of a plurality of content delivery network (CDN) servers, detecting a round trip time (RTT) for each of the plurality of the CDN servers based on the address of each of the plurality of the CDN servers, the RTT being a time length for rounding trip from the user terminal via one of the CDN servers to the user terminal, determining a first CDN server based on the lowest RTT, transmitting a request for content to the first CDN server, and receiving the requested content from the first CDN server.
