Abstract:
A washing machine includes a communication interface for wireless communication with a dryer; a user interface configured to receive a user’s control input related to the dryer, and to output information related to the dryer; and at least one processor configured to determine whether a front surface of the dryer faces in a same direction as a front surface of the washing machine, and when it is determined that the front surface of the dryer faces in the same direction as the front surface of the washing machine, receive the user’s control input related to the dryer through the user interface and transmit, to the dryer, a control command corresponding to the user’s control input related to the dryer through the communication interface.
Abstract:
An organic photodetector includes an anode and a cathode facing each other and an active layer between the anode and the cathode and including a p-type semiconductor and an n-type semiconductor, wherein an energy barrier between the anode or the cathode and the active layer is greater than or equal to about 1.3 eV, a difference between a HOMO energy level of the p-type semiconductor and a LUMO energy level of the n-type semiconductor is greater than or equal to about 0.8 eV.
Abstract:
Provided are a color-depth sensor and a three-dimensional image acquisition apparatus including the same. The color-depth sensor includes a color sensor that senses visible light and an infrared sensor that is stacked on the color sensor and senses infrared light. The 3D image acquisition apparatus includes: an imaging lens unit; a color-depth sensor that simultaneously senses color image information and depth image information about an object from light reflected by the object and transmitted through the imaging lens unit; and a 3D image processor that generates 3D image information by using the color image information and the depth image information sensed by the color-depth sensor.
Abstract:

Abstract:
Provided is an electronic device and method for controlling the same, which controls an operation by detecting a voltage between a plurality of live terminals and thus determining whether there is an error in supplying power through a power input terminal. According to an embodiment, an electronic device includes a power input terminal including a plurality of live terminals and a neutral terminal; a voltage detection circuit connected between the plurality of live terminals for detecting a voltage between the plurality of live terminals; and a controller configured to control operation of the electronic device to be interrupted in response to a magnitude of the voltage between the plurality of live terminals smaller than a threshold.
Abstract:
The present disclosure relates to a clothes treating apparatus including a drum, a door to open and close the drum, an opening/closing switch to output a signal in response to opening or closing of the drum by the door, a motor to rotate the drum, a controller to generate a control command for controlling a rotational speed of the motor, a driving device including an inverter to convert power applied to the motor and an inverter driver to output a control signal of the inverter in response to the generated control command, and a protection switch connected between the opening/closing switch and the inverter driver to be turned on or off by the signal output by the opening/closing switch, wherein the inverter driver turns off the inverter when a voltage applied by the protection switch is less than or equal to a reference voltage.
