Abstract: An electronic device according to various embodiments of the present invention comprises: a housing including a first plate and a second plate spaced apart from the first plate; a touch screen display disposed inside the housing and exposed through a part of the first plate; a pressure sensing circuit disposed between the first plate and the second plate, and configured to detect pressure caused by an external pressure applied to at least a part of the touch screen display; a wireless communication circuit disposed inside the housing; at least one processor disposed inside the housing and electrically connected to the touch screen display, the pressure sensing circuit, and the wireless communication circuit; and a memory disposed inside the housing and electrically connected to the processor, wherein the memory is configured to store an application program including a user interface and instructions, wherein the instructions are configured to cause the processor to, when executed, display at least one object on the user interface on the touch screen display, detect a pressure level for a user input in the at least one object or in the periphery thereof by using the pressure sensing circuit, and select one of a plurality of operations, related to the at least one object, on the basis of at least one part of the detected pressure level. Other embodiments are also possible.

The processor may be configured to transmit to the power module the control signal for interrupting the power supply to the processor if a designated condition is satisfied, and transmit content information to the display module so that the display module displays the content information when the power supply to the processor is interrupted.

Abstract: Various embodiments of the present disclosure relate to an apparatus and a method for outputting content in an electronic device, the electronic device comprises: a display located inside a housing and exposed through a portion of a first plate; a pressure sensor circuit, which is located between the first plate and a second plate, and detects pressure applied to the first plate by an external force; a wireless communication circuit located inside the housing; a display driving circuit located inside the housing; at least one processor located inside the housing and electrically connected to the display, the pressure sensor circuit, the wireless communication circuit, and the display driving circuit; and a memory located inside the housing and electrically connected to the processor, wherein, the memory can be controlled, during execution, so as to store instructions for causing the processor to: perform control such that the display driving circuit displays at least one graphical element on a selected region of the display having a black background screen image while at least a portion of the processor is in a sleep mode; detect a change in pressure by using the pressure sensor circuit; and inactivate the display in response to the detected pressure change. Other embodiments are possible.

Abstract: An electronic device and method thereof are provided for displaying content. The electronic device includes a display, a biometric sensor disposed in at least a partial area of the display and at least one processor configured to identify attribute information associated with an event generated while the electronic device operates in a low-power display mode, display a graphic object corresponding to the event on the partial area when the attribute information satisfies a designated condition, receive a user input on the graphic object via the display, obtain biometric information corresponding to the user input using the biometric sensor, and provide at least one content corresponding to the event when the biometric information is authenticated.
