    Abstract: The present disclosure relates to an electronic device and a method of operating the same. The electronic device includes a necklace band, and a first component connected to the necklace band.     Abstract: A method and apparatus for controlling battery charging in an electronic device are provided. The electronic device may include a charging module, a connector, and one or more processors. Upon detecting charging by a power source, the one or more processors control the charging module to perform the charging of a battery cell by a first charging current through a first port of the connector. The one or more processors detect whether a voltage is applied through a second port of the connector, and if so, the one or more processors control the charging module to perform the charging of the battery cell using a second charging current through the first port and the second port of the connector.
