Abstract: A display device for processing an information code included in an image is provided. The display device includes an image receiver configured to receive an image signal including an information code, a communicator configured to communicate data with an external device, a display configured to display an image, and a controller configured to capture a still image from the image signal processed to be displayed on the display, to detect the information code from the captured still image, to discover the external device to which information about the recognized information code will be transmitted, and to control the communicator to transmit the information about the information code to the discovered external device.
