Abstract: The present disclosure is a research which has been conducted with the support of the “Cross-Departmental Giga KOREA Project” of the government (the Ministry of Science and ICT) in 2017 (No. GK17N0100, Development for mmWave-based 5G mobile communication system). The present disclosure relates to a communication technique for convergence of a 5G communication system for supporting a higher data transmission rate beyond a 4G system with an IoT technology, and a system therefor. The present disclosure may be applied to an intelligent service (for example, smart home, smart building, smart city, smart car or connected car, health care, digital education, retail business, security and safety-related service, etc.) on the basis of a 5G communication technology and IoT-related technology. The present disclosure provides a system and a control method therefor, which can prevent, when a dual connectivity scheme is used, delay and data loss due to an operation of releasing and adding a secondary node cell or a process of resetting a user plane and updating a security key and a procedure of forwarding data between user planes through a common anchored user plane and changing (updating) a path between the user plane and a core.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a communication technique for converging a 5G communication system for supporting a higher data transfer rate beyond a 4G system with an IoT technology, and a system therefor. The present disclosure may be applied to intelligent services (for example, smart home, smart buildings, smart cities, smart cars or connected cars, health care, digital educations, retail business, security and safety-related services, etc.) on the basis of a 5G communication technology and an IoT-related technology. A method for transmitting data by a first communication device in the case of a packet data convergence protocol (PDCP) version change in a wireless communication system according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises the steps of: checking whether the PDCP version of a first PDCP entity for the first communication device is changed from the PDCP version of a second PDCP entity for a second communication device; when the PDCP version of the first PDCP entity is changed, identifying first data transmitted by the second PDCP entity to a radio link control (RLC) entity for the second communication device; and transmitting second data to a third communication device on the basis of the first data and a data transmission mode configured for the first communication device.

Abstract: According to an embodiment of the present disclosure, a terminal may store a time correction value acquired from an RA response message during an RRC layer connection to a base station, receive, from the base station, an uplink resource allocation message including an uplink resource allocated to the terminal, after the RRC layer connection to the base station is released, and when an RRC layer connection to the base station is determined, establish the RRC layer connection to the base station without transmitting an RA preamble message, on the basis of the stored time correction value and the allocated uplink resource.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a 5G or pre-5G communication system for supporting a higher data transmission rate beyond a 4G communication system such as LTE. The present invention relates to a method for guaranteeing quality of service in a wireless communication system. More particularly, a method of a base station according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises the steps of: identifying at least one non-Guaranteed bit rate (GBR) bearer configured for an arbitrary communication device; determining whether to guarantee a specific bit rate to the non-GBR bearer, on the basis of at least one of QoS class identifier (QCI) information, allocation and retention priority (ARP) information, and subscriber profile identifier (SPID), which are received from a core network node for the non-GBR bearer; and performing scheduling for the non-GBR bearer on the basis of the determination.
