Abstract:
The present disclosure relates to an apparatus and a method for cancelling echo by an electronic device. Here, a method of operating an electronic device includes converting a first digital signal related to a sound to be output through a plurality of speakers into a first analog signal; outputting the converted first analog signal as a sound using at least a part of the plurality of speakers; filtering at least a part of the converted first analog signal and/or the output sound and then generating a second analog signal; and outputting the second analog signal as another sound using at least another part of the plurality of speakers.
Abstract:
An electronic device is provided. The electronic device includes a first speaker, a first microphone, a storage unit storing a reference signal, and a controller configured to, when the reference signal is output through the first speaker, receive a first signal input through the first microphone and a second signal input through a second microphone of an external electronic device and determine whether to use the first microphone or the second microphone based on at least one of the first signal input through the first microphone and the second signal input through the second microphone.
Abstract:
Various embodiments provide an electronic device and a method therefor, the electronic device comprising: a voice recognition unit; a memory; a display; and a processor functionally connected to the voice recognition unit, the memory or the display, wherein the processor is configured to: acquire password information for the content selected by a user, when the voice information of a user recognized by the voice recognition unit includes a hidden command; request the user to articulate the obtained password information; and encrypt the content based on the received voice information according to the request. In addition, other embodiments are possible.
Abstract:
Disclosed are an apparatus and a method of cancelling an echo signal flowing in a microphone of an electronic device. The electronic device may include: a microphone configured to receive a sound signal; an Application Processor (AP) configured to execute an application; a communication module configured to control a voice call service; a speaker configured to output a sound signal; an audio processing module configured to process an output of at least one of an audio signal received from the AP, a voice signal received from the communication module, or a combined signal to the speaker; a first Acoustic Echo Canceller (AEC) configured to cancel an echo of the sound signal received through the microphone based on the output from the audio processing module and provide the signal to the AP, the first AEC being located in at least one of the AP, the audio processing module, and an external pre-processing module; and a second AEC configured to cancel an echo of the sound signal received through the microphone based on the output from the audio processing module and provide the signal to the communication module, the second AEC being located in at least one of the communication module, the audio processing module, and the external pre-processing module. Other embodiments may be possible.
