    Abstract: An electronic device and method of operating an electronic device are provided. An electronic device comprising at least one processor, wherein the at least one processor is configured to, identify an over-temperature state in a state of being connected to a first RAT, based on the identification of the over-temperature state, identify whether a connection for the first RAT is maintainable, based on identifying that the connection for the first RAT is maintainable, perform at least one first operation corresponding to the over-temperature state while maintaining the connection for the first RAT, and based on identifying that the connection for the first RAT is not maintainable, perform at least one second operation for establishing.
