Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention assist in the development, management, and deployment of aggregated data attributes for multiple data sources. One embodiment provides a development interface that allows for elements of attributes, including filters, to be moved into a coding area in which an attribute or an attribute element is being edited. In another embodiment, the user interface presents data fields to assist in the development of filters for multiple data sources with divergent formats. The application further provides a validation interface through which users can validate attributes and trace the results returned by various elements referenced by the attributes under validation. Another embodiment provides a system for managing attributes and deploying them to various systems by creating a deployment file that is used by an attribute calculation system. In one embodiment, the attribute calculation system is a scalable system that dynamically calculates attributes for multiple data sources.

Abstract: A method for managing a managed forwarding element (MFE) that forwards data in a network. A network controller publishes, to the MFE, a first set of data for configuring the MFE to perform a set of forwarding operations. The network controller collects, from the MFE, a second set of data regarding current operational state of the MFE. The network controller identifies a difference between a desired operational state of the MFE maintained by the network controller and the collected current operational state of the MFE. Based on the identified difference, the network controller publishes a new third set of data for configuring the MFE to adjust the current operational state of the MFE to the desired state.

Abstract: A gas compression system that can continue control of the number of operated pieces of a compressor even when an abnormality has occurred and a control method thereof are provided. The gas compression system includes compressors, a number-of-pieces controller that executes master control to control the number of operated pieces of the compressor, and a communication network that connects the compressors and the number-of-pieces controller with each other in a mutually communicable manner. Each compressor includes a compressor main unit that compresses a gas and a controller that executes slave control to control the compressor main unit in response to a command from the number-of-pieces controller. The respective controllers are configured to determine whether an abnormality of the number-of-pieces controller or an abnormality of communication with the number-of-pieces controller has occurred on the basis of whether a safety notification from the number-of-pieces controller is received and transmit a master declaration.

Abstract: An application may store data to a dataset comprising a plurality of volumes stored on a plurality of storage systems. The application may request a dataset image of the dataset, the dataset image comprising a volume image of each volume of the dataset. A dataset image manager operates with a plurality of volume image managers in parallel to produce the dataset image, each volume image manager executing on a storage system. The plurality of volume image managers respond by performing requested operations and sending responses to the dataset image manager in parallel. Each volume image manager on a storage system may manage and produce a volume image for each volume of the dataset stored to the storage system. If a volume image for any volume of the dataset fails, or a timeout period expires, a cleanup procedure is performed to delete any successful volume images.

Abstract: An instrumentation analysis system processes data streams by executing instructions specified using a data stream language program. The data stream language allows users to specify a search condition using a find block for identifying the set of data streams processed by the data stream language program. The set of identified data streams may change dynamically. The data stream language allows users to group data streams into sets of data streams based on distinct values of one or more metadata attributes associated with the input data streams. The data stream language allows users to specify a threshold block for determining whether data values of input data streams are outside boundaries specified using low/high thresholds. The elements of the set of data streams input to the threshold block can dynamically change. The low/high threshold values can be specified as data streams and can dynamically change.

Abstract: Presented are concepts for processing an event log. Once such concept obtains an event log comprising a log of event occurrences for an executed process. It also obtains an events embedding model representative of relationships between a plurality of events of one or more processes. Based on the events embedding model, repeating events in the event log are clustered into one or more groups, and each of the one or more groups are associated with a respective identifier. Repeating events in the event log are then replaced with the identifier associated with the group that the repeating event is a member of.
