    Abstract: Disclosed is an electronic device. The electronic device includes: an antenna structure including at least one antenna and at least one processor operatively connected with the antenna structure. The antenna structure includes: a first conductive patch including a first edge and a second edge parallel to the first edge, a first transmission line electrically connected to a first point of the first conductive patch, a second conductive patch spaced apart from the first conductive patch by a specified distance and including a third edge at least partially facing the second edge of the first conductive patch and a fourth edge parallel to the third edge, and a second transmission line electrically connected to a second point of the second conductive patch. The first point of the first conductive patch and the second point of the second conductive patch are located on the second edge of the first conductive patch and the third edge of the second conductive patch or on the first edge of the first conductive patch and the fourth edge of the second conductive patch.

    Abstract: An ultra-wide band (UWB) antenna including a dielectric substrate, and first and second conductive layers arranged on opposite sides of the dielectric substrate. The first conductive layer includes a first, second and third patch antennae, each configured to receive a first UWB signal and a second UWB signal, wherein the second and third patch antennae are spaced apart from the first patch antenna in specific directions. The first conductive layer also includes first, second, and third transmission lines connecting, respectively, the first, second, and third patch antennae to a connector.     Abstract: An electronic device may include: a communication module that supports ultra-wideband communication; a memory that stores correction values respectively corresponding to a plurality of data ranges divided according to a specified condition, in relation to data for positioning of an external electronic device; a processor operatively connected to the communication module and the memory; and a location determination module operatively connected to the processor. The location determination module may be configured to: acquire a phase difference of arrival of a signal calculated on the basis of the signal received from the external electronic device via the communication module; determine a data range corresponding to the acquired phase difference of arrival of the signal from among the plurality of data ranges; and calculate the angle of arrival of the signal by using a correction value corresponding to the determined data range from among the correction values.     Abstract: An electronic device is provided, which includes an FPCB, wherein the FPCB includes a first portion in which an antenna is provided in the form of a patch antenna that overlaps a metal member, a second portion coupled to a connector of the circuit board, and a third portion arranged between the first portion and the second portion. A layered structure of the FPCB may include a dielectric material having a first thickness in the first portion overlapping the metal member and having a second thickness smaller than the first thickness in the second portion and the third portion, a first conductive layer provided in the first direction from the dielectric material, and an intermediate conductive layer provided in a second direction opposite to the first direction, from the dielectric material. The intermediate conductive layer may be provided only in the second portion and the third portion and may not be provided in the first portion. A portion of the dielectric material in the first portion can be arranged to face the metal member.

    Abstract: According to various embodiments, the electronic device may include: a first antenna having a first polarization characteristic, a second antenna a having a second polarization characteristic different from the first polarization characteristic, a switch operatively connected to the first antenna and the second antenna, and a processor operatively connected to the first antenna and the second antenna through the switch. The processor may be configured to identify, based on transmitting at least one packet using the first antenna, at least one timestamp of the packet, control the electronic device to transmit a first area of the packet based on a first timestamp of the identified timestamp using the first antenna, switch the first antenna to the second antenna based on a second timestamp of the identified timestamp, and control the electronic device to transmit a second area of the packet based on the second timestamp of the packet using the second antenna.
