Abstract: A light emitting diode (LED) module that is configured to emit white light is provided. The LED module includes: a blue light emitting diode configured to emit blue light having a first peak wavelength of 420 nm to 465 nm; at least one wavelength conversion material that is configured to convert a portion of the blue light into converted light of a different wavelength; and a near-infrared light source configured to emit additional light having a second peak wavelength in a range of 740 nm to 900 nm and a full width at half maximum (FWHM) of 120 nm or less. The converted light, another portion of the blue light, and the additional light combine to form the white light.

Abstract: Systems and methods are described for a white light emitting module that emits a third white light with the goal of providing human-friendly illumination. The white light emitting device comprise a first light emitting package that emits a first white light and a second light emitting package that emits a second white light. The first light emitting package includes a first light emitting device and a filter member that filters light emitted from the first light emitting device and then reduces a color temperature of the first white light. The second light emitting package includes second and third light devices. The color temperature of the first white light is about 1,500 K to about 4,000 K. A color temperature of the second white light is about 3,000 K to 10,000 K.

Abstract: A refrigerator includes a body including a storage compartment; a door configured to open and close the storage compartment; a door opening and closing sensor configured to detect a door open state and a door closed state; a temperature sensor provided in the storage compartment, and configured to detect a temperature of the storage compartment; an illuminator provided in the storage compartment and configured to irradiate an item in the storage compartment with the light; a storage unit configured to store sterilization information including at least one preset dose for sterilization of the item; and a processor configured to: drive the illuminator to irradiate the item with the light at the preset dose, based on a signal output by the door opening and closing sensor indicating that the door is in the door closed state and the measured temperature being outside of a preset temperature range, and terminate driving of the illuminator, based on an irradiation time period for the preset dose elapsing.

An emission spectrum of the light for plant growth is when a photosynthetic photon flux (PPF) in a 400 nm to 500 nm band is 1, a PPF in a 500 nm to 600 nm band is in a range of 6 to 10, and a PPF in a 600 nm to 700 nm is in a range of 5 to 7.
