A method of load balancing by multiple cores in a multi-core-based load balancing apparatus comparing arriving packets with a signature is provided, and comprises first load-balancing first packets arriving on the multiple cores during a first period based on an arrival rate of the first packets, identifying a signature for the comparison, analyzing the first packets, determining at least one service type of the first packets, estimating a mean deep packet inspection (DPI) time corresponding to the determined at least one service type of the first packets, generating a load balancing rule using the estimated average DPI time, and second load-balancing second packets arriving on the multiple cores during a second period using the generated load balancing rule.

A method for transmitting authentication information of a service provided from a service providing server at a first device in a wireless communication system comprising a plurality of devices includes obtaining, from an authentication server, first access information using an authentication code obtained based on an IDentifier (ID) and a password of an application for using of the service from the authentication server, transmitting, to the service providing server, a service request message comprising the first access information, performing a connection procedure with a second device among the plurality of devices, obtaining from the connected second device, second device information, and after registering the second device to the service providing server based on the second device information, transmitting, to the second device, registration information comprising the authentication code. The authentication code is used to request second access information of the second device to the authentication server.

A gateway apparatus for monitoring whether something is wrong with electronic devices and a control method thereof are provided. The gateway apparatus includes at least one communication section which communicates with a plurality of electronic devices, a camera for taking an image of the plurality of electronic devices, and a user terminal or a management server, and a controller configured to determine whether there is something wrong with at least one of the plurality of electronic devices based on energy information received from the plurality of electronic devices, to receive a taken image of the at least one electronic device with which something is wrong from the camera by transmitting position information of the at least one electronic device with which something is wrong to the camera, and to transmit a monitoring image based on the received taken image of the at least one electronic device with which something is wrong to the user terminal or to the management server.
