Abstract:
The present invention separately includes a push server which enables a notification message regarding occurrence of an event to be received even though a smart home application is turned off in a mobile terminal. The present invention receives a notification message using the push server, and resource information corresponding to an event of a home device is included in the notification message which is transmitted from the push server to the mobile terminal.
Abstract:
A method for detecting in a bio sensor misalignment between the bio sensor and a bio signal receiving module is provided. The method includes receiving, by the bio sensor, a light signal from the bio signal receiving module, determining, by the bio sensor, whether the light signal is received in a misalignment detection section, determining, by the bio sensor, that the bio sensor and the bio signal receiving module are misaligned if the light signal is received in the misalignment detection section, generating a feedback signal that comprises information to indicate misalignment between the bio sensor and the bio signal receiving module, and transmitting, by the bio sensor, the feedback signal to the bio signal receiving module.
Abstract:
A method and apparatus for controlling devices for a smart home service are provided. The method includes grouping devices to receive at least one command simultaneously from among devices registered to the smart home service into a group for one mode, generating mode configuration information for each mode including grouped devices for the mode and at least one command for the mode, transmitting the mode configuration information for each mode to the registered devices, selecting one of each mode for which the mode configuration information has been generated, and transmitting a mode activation request for activating the selected mode to the registered devices.
Abstract:
Remote control methods, systems, and devices are described. In one aspect, a remote control method using a wearable device is provided. In the method, a communication connection is established with a remote camera over a network and the field of view (FoV) of the remote camera is controlled according to a detected movement of the user wearing the wearable device.
Abstract:
An apparatus and method by which a user device in a home network system transmits home-device-related information is provided. The method includes acquiring, from at least one home device, a unique user identifier (UUID) for a related home device, a peer ID (peer ID) which is managed by a connectivity server for managing a connection between the user device and the related home device and that identifies the related home device, a peer group ID for identifying a group of home devices that have registered with a service server for managing device information on the related home device, and a device token containing key information for authenticating the connection to the related home device, selecting a specific user device which will share the UUID, peerID, peer group ID and device token from among neighboring devices, and transferring the UUID, peerID, peer group ID, and device token to the specific user device on the basis of a predetermined sharing method.

Abstract:
A method for remotely controlling a home device in a mobile terminal is provided. The method includes receiving a chat message input to the mobile terminal for controlling at least one home device through an instant messenger application installed in the mobile terminal, and sending the chat message to a messenger server. The sent chat message is converted into a control command, which is sent to the home device.
Abstract:
A method and an apparatus for operating a server in a wireless access system are provided. The method includes receiving a request for location information of a mobile station, transmitting a measurement request message for requesting measurement data used for location determination of the mobile station, receiving a measurement response message comprising at least one of a rejection code and a rejection duration, and transmitting a notification that the request for the location information is rejected.
