摘要： A secondary battery of the present invention includes an electrode assembly composed by a first plate and second pole plate, a separator interposed between the first pole plate and the second pole plate, and first and second electrode tabs connected to the first pole plate and the second pole plate, respectively; a battery case, in which a sealing portion is provided in an edge thereof, accommodating the electrode assembly; and an insulation member covering at least some of the sealing portion, wherein the electrode assembly is accommodated into the battery case so that the first and second electrode tabs are drawn out through the sealing portion, and the insulation member is provided to cover at least some of the portion in which the first or second electrode tabs are drawn.
