摘要: A miniature electrochemical cell having a total volume that is less than 0.5 cc is described. The cell casing is formed by joining two ceramic casing halves together. One or both casing halves are machined from ceramic to provide a recess that is sized and shaped to contain the electrode assembly. The opposite polarity terminals are metal feedthroughs, such as of gold, and are formed by brazing gold into openings machined into one or both ceramic casing halves. The two ceramic casing halves are separated from each other by a metal interlayer, such as of gold, bonded to a thin film metallization adhesion layer, such as of titanium, that contacts an edge periphery of each ceramic casing half. A solid electrolyte (LixPOyNz) is used to activate the electrode assembly.

摘要: A packaging material for lithium-ion battery comprises a substrate layer made of a plastic film, and a first adhesive layer, a metal foil layer, an anti-corrosion layer, a second adhesive layer and a sealant layer successively laminated on one surface of the substrate layer. The plastic film has a water absorption rate of not less than about 01% to not larger than about 3% when determined by a method described in JIS K 7209:2000 and when the plastic film is subjected to a tensile test (wherein the sample of the plastic film is stored for 24 hours in an environment of 23° C. and 40% R.H., and subjected to a tensile test in the same environment as indicated above under conditions of a sample width of 6 mm, a gauge length of 35 mm and a tensile speed of 300 mm/minute), stress values in an MD direction of the sample and in a TD direction of the sample after stretching by about 10% relative to a length of the sample prior to the tensile test are both from not larger than about 110 MPa and at least one of the stress values in the MD direction of the sample and in the TD direction of the sample is not less than about 70 MPa.

摘要: A rechargeable battery according to an exemplary embodiment may include: an electrode assembly including an electrode provided with a coated region and an uncoated region tab at opposite sides of a separator and configured to be spirally wound; an insulating case to accommodate and electrically insulate the electrode assembly; a case to accommodate the insulating case; and a cap plate including an electrolyte injection opening for injecting an electrolyte solution and combined with an opening of the case, wherein the insulating case may include: an internal electrolyte injection opening corresponding to the electrolyte injection opening; a pillar around the internal electrolyte injection opening protruding toward an inner side of the cap plate; and a valve flap that rotates via a hinge, induces injection of the electrolyte solution, and prevents backflow of the electrolyte solution.

摘要: A device includes a signal generator module, a processing module, and a housing. The signal generator module is configured to deliver pacing pulses to an atrium. The processing module is configured to detect a ventricular activation event and determine a length of an interval between the ventricular activation event and a previous atrial event that preceded the ventricular activation event. The processing module is further configured to schedule a time at which to deliver a pacing pulse to the atrium based on the length of the interval and control the signal generator module to deliver the pacing pulse at the scheduled time. The housing is configured for implantation within the atrium. The housing encloses the stimulation generator and the processing module.

摘要: A resin-metal composite sealed container having a heat seal part using a heat-sealing resin, between an end part of a first metal foil and an end part of a second metal foil, and a metallically sealed part with a weld bead, on the end face outside the heat sealed part of the first metal foil and the second metal foil. The resin-metal composite sealed container, wherein the melting point of the metal constituting the metal foil is higher by 300° C. or more than the thermal decomposition temperature of the heat-sealing resin, the specific gravity of the metal constituting the metal foil is 5 or more, and the weld bead is formed by a laser welding. A method for producing a metal-resin composite sealed container, comprising forming a container by heat sealing end parts of metal foils having laminated on at least one surface thereof a heat-sealing resin, and forming a metallically sealed part with a weld bead on the end faces of the metal foils by heating/welding an outer side of the heat sealed part of the container from a side of the end faces of the metal foils.
