摘要: A magnetorheological-fluid hydraulic mount includes a hydraulic-mount partition plate assembly, a hydraulic-mount decoupler, an electric coil, and a flexible membrane assembly. The partition plate assembly has first and second sides, has a non-magnetorheological-fluid first orifice, and has a magnetorheological-fluid second orifice. The first orifice has a first terminus positioned at the first side and a second terminus positioned at the second side. The second orifice has a first end positioned at the first side and has a second end positioned at the second side. The hydraulic-mount decoupler is operatively connected to the first orifice. The electric coil is disposed to magnetically influence the second orifice. The flexible membrane assembly has a first membrane portion fluidly-isolating, on the first side of the partition plate assembly, the first end from the first terminus and has a second membrane portion fluidly-isolating, on the second side of the partition plate assembly, the second end from the second terminus.

摘要: A powertrain mount comprises an orifice plate including two tracks, a control track and an isolation track. The control track is spirally formed within the orifice plate, which has an exit and entrance on either side of the plate. The control track provides damping to control damping from engine bounce; whereas, the isolation track controllably provides dynamic rate dip. The isolation track is formed between an alignment plate and rotatable track member, each having an exit and entrance, respectively. The rotatable track member and the alignment plate are sealingly engaged and affixed to a decoupler and an annular area disposed about the orifice plate of the powertrain mount. The exit of the alignment plate is adjacent the decoupler. The rotatable track member forms a cavity with the molded body of the powertrain mount, with the entrance exposed to fluid within the cavity for controlling and minimizing vibrations within the powertrain. The isolation track has a track length that may be varied by rotation of the track member and its entrance. Various magnitudes of disturbance frequencies may be managed and controlled by either the fixed control track and/or the variable isolation track within the powertrain mount.

With low amplitude vibrations the fluid path remains open, providing low dynamic stiffness. For high amplitude vibrations, the fluid flow path is closed, providing a high level of dynamic stiffness. The rotary track assembly control is continuously variable offering a wide range of active control of hydraulic mount stiffness.

摘要: A hydraulic engine mount includes opposed mounting members secured to an elastomeric body and a base, respectively, with an orifice plate assembly interposed the body and the base to define a pumping chamber and a reservoir for hydraulic fluid to flow therebetween through an orifice track formed by the orifice plate assembly. An elastomeric decoupler disk is secured in a recess formed between two orifice plates of the orifice plate assembly and defines a gas spring or cushion space which may be filled or vented by a removable plug in one of the orifice plates. Improved dynamic rate and damping at low amplitude inputs to the mount are provided by the gas cushion biased decoupler as compared with a decoupler type mount without the gas cushion bias. The mount provides an advantage over conventional decoupled hydraulic mounts in that very strict dimensional tolerances are relaxed and performance characteristics, as well as ease of manufacturing, are improved.

摘要: A hydraulic mount useful for automotive vehicle powertrain applications includes an elastomeric body, a base, a flexible diaphragm and a partition assembled to provide a pumping chamber and a reservoir. An actuator is mounted for moving a closure member between positions to allow flow of fluid between the pumping chamber and the reservoir and to restrict flow of fluid between the pumping chamber and the reservoir. The partition comprises an orifice plate assembly including a valve housing and an annular recess formed in one of two orifice plates for receiving a decoupler. The orifice plates include openings therein for communicating fluid between the decoupler and the pumping chamber and between the decoupler and the reservoir, respectively.

摘要: A hydraulic mount assembly includes a body with a main chamber formed therein. A magnetorheological fluid retaining member is positioned in the main chamber forming a magnetorheological chamber adjacent the main chamber. An electrical coil is positioned adjacent the magnetorheological chamber and a plate member is operably connected to the magnetorheological fluid retaining member. Energization and de-energization of the coil controls the ability of the mount to resist movement by varying the apparent viscosity of the fluid within the magnetorheological chamber.

摘要: A hydraulic mount for automotive engine and powertrain applications includes an elastomer body, a base and a partition interposed the body and the base to form a fluid-pumping chamber and a reservoir. Circumferentially spaced axial extending holes or slots or an annular orifice track are formed in the partition together with a magnetic coil operable to impose a magnetic field on the holes, slots or orifice track to control the shear properties of a magnetorheological (MR) fluid in the pumping chamber and reservoir. An elastomeric decoupler member is in communication with at least one of the pumping chamber and the reservoir to reduce the mount dynamic stiffness for isolating low-displacement relatively high-frequency vibrations. Vibrations of multiple frequencies may be isolated by tuning the mount with a controller.
