    摘要: A disc-shaped tool 10 includes a plurality of virtual regions formed such that it is surrounded by two radius lines extending from a rotation center of a disc-shaped base metal 11 and two concentric circles on the base metal disposed around the rotation center. A central angle formed by the two radius lines is equal to or less than 90°, and the number of the virtual regions is 4 to 24. The concentric circle located in a center of an interval of the two concentric circles forming the virtual region is in a range of 0.6 r to 0.8 r with respect to the rotation center of the base metal when a maximum gullet bottom radius of the base metal is r. An overlapping of the virtual regions continuously adjoining each other is in a range of 0° to 12°. A minimum neighborhood distance between the adjoining slits is equal to or more than 0.05 r. A ratio of a length of an arc of the central concentric circle in each virtual region with respect to the interval of the two concentric circles in the virtual region is 3 to 6.

The first tips C1 and the second tips C2 are disposed and fixed on a front face in a rotational direction of each of plural tooth bodies 12 in such a way that two first tips C1 and a second tip C2 repeatedly appear in this order. The first tip C1 has a Kerf cutting dimension S1 at a position at which a maximum width W1 is reached, and its rotational radius at the position at which the maximum width W1 is reached is R1. The second tip C2 has a Kerf cutting dimension S2 at a position at which a maximum width W2 is reached, and its rotational radius, at the position at which the maximum width W2 is reached, is R1. The Kerf cutting dimension S2 is shorter than the Kerf cutting dimension by 0.01 to 0.05 mm.

    摘要: A side cutting edge of a tip 20 fixed to the outer circumference of a circular saw blade body 11 has a inflexion point K at a portion at which the tip projects laterally to the greatest distance. An outer-circumferential-side portion of the side cutting edge has a negative radial clearance angle of not less than −1° but less than 0° at the inflexion point, and an inner-circumferential-side portion of the side cutting edge has a positive radial clearance angle of greater than 0° but less than −1° at the inflexion point. By virtue of this configuration, a cut surface having a better surface roughness as compared to that obtained conventionally can be obtained in cutting of a soft material such as wood by use of a circular saw.
