摘要： An inkjet recording head includes a recording-element substrate having arranged therein multiple sets of nozzles that discharge ink, energy-generating elements that generate energy used for discharging the ink, and supply ports that supply the ink to the nozzles; and a sealant disposed around the recording-element substrate. The supply ports include a first supply port disposed near a first edge of the recording-element substrate and a second supply port disposed near a second edge of the recording-element substrate, the second edge being opposite to the first edge as viewed in the arrangement direction of the multiple sets. As viewed in the arrangement direction, a distance between the second edge and the second supply port is shorter than a distance between the first edge and the first supply port, and a volume of the sealant near the second edge is smaller than a volume of the sealant near the first edge.

摘要： An ink jet recording head includes an element substrate; a plurality of ejection outlets, provided on the element substrate, for ejecting ink in a direction perpendicular to the element substrate; and a nozzle formation member having a plurality of ink flow paths which are in fluid communication with the ejection outlets, respectively. The ink flow paths are arranged at a density higher than 1200 dpi in an arranging direction of the ejection outlets and widths of flow passage walls forming the ink flow paths are smaller than heights of the ink flow paths and are smaller than widths of the ink flow paths.

摘要： A liquid container detachably mountable to a mounting portion of an ink jet recording apparatus, and which includes a liquid chamber, a light emitter, an electrical contact which receives a signal for light emission by the light emitter, and a display portion which directs emitted light from the light emitter toward an outside of the liquid container. A latch lever is elastically deformable and has a latching portion spaced from a first side of the liquid container, the first side being between the latching portion and the liquid chamber. A liquid supply port is disposed at a second side of the liquid container. The electrical contact is disposed at a position which is between the latching portion and the liquid supply port as seen facing both of the first and second sides, and the display portion is disposed adjacent to an upper portion, in use, of the first side.

The liquid container is supported in an upright configuration and includes a display portion on an upper side thereof, and a light emitting portion which emits light for display by the display portion. Because the display portion is disposed on an upper side, a user can confirm the display despite the mounting arrangement of the liquid container in the recording apparatus.
