Abstract: A rotor for use with an electric submersible pump. The rotor may comprise a yoke having a plurality of steps formed in an outer surface of the yoke. The rotor may comprise a plurality of spacers positioned about the yoke, each spacer of the plurality of spacers positioned at a location of a respective step to prevent relative rotation between the plurality of spacers and the yoke. The rotor may comprise a plurality of permanent magnets positioned about the yoke and separated from each other via a respective spacer of the plurality of spacers, the plurality of permanent magnets prevented from rotating relative to the yoke via the plurality of spacers. The rotor may comprise an enclosure surrounding the plurality of spacers and the plurality of permanent magnets.

Abstract: Rotor bearings are provided. The motor bearing can be used in an electric submersible pump motor. The bearing can include a body and one or more anti-rotation pins disposed partially in a groove in an outer surface of the body and configured to be received in a corresponding keyway in an inner diameter of a stator. The anti-rotation pin prevents or inhibits rotation of the bearing relative to the stator.

The surface pump is to inject water into the injection well via the second fluid conduit. A flowmeter is fluidly coupled to the first fluid conduit. The example system includes a processor to control at least one of (a) the downhole pump or the downhole compressor or (b) the surface pump in response to fluid property data generated by the first flowmeter.

Abstract: A technique facilitates the reduction of vibration in a variety of devices which have rotating components. According to an embodiment, a system may combine a shaft, a rotor mounted along the shaft for rotation with the shaft, and a vibration reduction system. The vibration reduction system incorporates the use of a key and keyway in a manner which helps balance the rotor, thus reducing vibration during operation. In some applications, the vibration reduction system is able to reduce eccentric positioning of the rotor on the shaft due to, for example, assembly clearances.
