摘要: A slant plate type compressor, such as a wobble plate type compressor, with a variable displacement mechanism for use in a refrigeration circuit is disclosed. Two passageways communicate between the crank chamber and the suction chamber in the cylinder block. A bellows is disposed in a first passageway and controls communication between the crank chamber and the suction chamber in the first passageway. The bellows operates in accordance with the crank chamber pressure. A control valve is disposed in the second passageway and controls communication between the crank chamber and the suction chamber in the second passageway in response to signal from an external sensor. This configuration enables the compressor to be operated at maximum capacity when the refrigeration circuit is turned on until the temperature in the passenger compartment of a car reaches a desired temperature without input from the pressure in the crank chamber. After the temperature in the passenger compartment of the car reaches the desired temperature, the compressor operation is controlled by the bellows based on the crank chamber pressure. Therefore, the cooling characteristics of the compressor are improved and the temperature in the passenger compartment of the car can be controlled better.

摘要: A wobble plate type compressor with a variable displacement mechanism including a compressor housing is disclosed. A cylinder block including a plurality of cylinders is disposed in said compressor housing and a crank chamber is formed between the end of said cylinder block and a front end plate. An inclined plate is attached to a cam rotor which is further attached to a drive shaft. Rotational motion of the drive shaft is converted by the cam rotor and the inclined plate into nutational motion of the wobble plate. A plurality of pistons are coupled to the wobble plate with each piston being reciprocably fitted within a respective one of the cylinders. A rotation preventing mechanism includes a guide plate disposed at the bottom of the compressor housing, parallel with the drive shaft. A cylindrical block is rotatably disposed within a hole formed in an extended portion of the wobble plate. The cylindrical block is secured in the hole and includes a vertical groove at its lower end which is slidably fitted on the upper end of the guide plate. A variety of means of are provided to secure the cylindrical block in the hole of the wobble plate. In a further embodiment, the guide plate is rotatably disposed within holes in the front end plate and the cylinder block to allow it to easily adapt to the inclination angle of the wobble plate.

摘要: A wobble plate compressor with a variable displacement mechanism is disclosed. The compressor includes a compressor housing having a crank chamber and a cylinder block. A plurality of cylinders is formed in the cylinder block. A drive shaft is rotatably supported in the housing. A rotor is fixed on the drive shaft and is hingedly connected to an inclined plate through a hinge mechanism. The hinge mechanism includes a first arm portion which is formed on either the rotor or inclined plate, a second arm portion having an elongated hole on the other of the rotor or the inclined plate, and a guide pin fixedly disposed in the hole of the first arm portion. A wobble portion is disposed adjacent the inclined plate and converts rotational motion of the inclined plate into nutational motion. A plurality of pistons are coupled to the wobble plate through a plurality of piston rods. Each piston is reciprocatingly fitted within a respective one of the cylinders. The stroke volume of the pistons changes according to the variation of the angle of the angle of the inclined plate. The elongated hole is formed so that the top clearance of the piston is a minimum when the angle of the inclined plate is largest, and the top clearance of the piston is a maximum when the angle of the inclined plate is smallest. The elongated hole is oriented in a manner that while the range of the inclined angles of the inclined plate is small, the capacity range variance for the compressor is large.

摘要: A slant plate type compressor with a capacity or displacement adjusting mechanism. The compressor includes a housing having a cylinder block provided with a plurality of cylinders and a crank chamber. A piston is slidably fitted within each of the cylinders and is reciprocated by a drive mechanism which includes a member having a surface with an adjustable incline angle. The incline angle is controlled by the pressure condition in the crank chamber. The pressure in the crank chamber is controlled by a control mechanism which comprises a passageway communicating between the crank chamber and a suction chamber, and valve to control the closing and opening of the passageway. The valve is disposed in a central bore which is formed in the cylinder block and supports one end of a drive shaft. A conduit extends from the central bore through the cylinder block and to the suction chamber.
