A radiation apparatus of a hard disk drive includes a base frame, a spindle motor installed at the base frame, a hard disk rotatably supported by a rotation shaft of the spindle motor, a cover frame coupled to the base frame and having a hole formed therein, a radiation plate installed at the cover frame and formed of a copper alloy having a thermal conductivity higher than that of the cover frame, and a portion for coupling the rotation shaft and the radiation plate so that driving heat generated by the spindle motor can be directly transferred to the radiation plate.

A filtering apparatus for a hard disk drive includes a housing in which a hard disk is rotatably installed, a filter for filtering particles from air flowing in the housing, and a holder installed at the top and bottom of the inside of the housing for supporting the filter by encompassing an upper portion and a lower portion thereof, so that a gap is not generated between the filter and the top, and between the filter and the bottom.

A noise damping device for a rotating body and a disk player is disclosed. The noise damping device for a rotating body is characterized in that inner surfaces of a housing in which the rotating body is installed are provided with an intaglio and/or cameo pattern of a predetermined shape. The pattern guides the air flow within the housing smoothly, and damps noise. Also, the noise damping device for a disk player is characterized in that an intaglio and/or cameo pattern of a predetermined shape is formed on surfaces of a disk tray and/or a clamping member.

A gamma correction circuit for single-plate type video camera having a correlation double sampling device and receiving the signal output from a complementary-filter-type charge coupled device (CCD) to thereby produce a color line sequence signal, includes a luminance signal detector for detecting the luminance signal frown the color line sequence signal; a first gamma-corrector for performing gamma-correction to the detected luminance signal from the luminance signal detector; a second gamma-corrector for gamma-correcting the color line sequence signal; a color difference signal detector for detecting the color difference signal from the color line sequence signal which is gamma-corrected by the second gamma-corrector; and a mixer for mixing the gamma-corrected luminance signal which is gamma-corrected by the first gamma-corrector with the gamma-corrected color difference signal which is detected by the color difference signal detector. Accordingly, the gamma-correction circuit performs gamma-correction to the color line sequence signal being output from the correlation double sampling device, so that the circuit can be simplified.

A polygonal mirror assembly is provided with a vibration absorption. The polygonal mirror assembly includes a motor and a polygonal mirror rotatably installed around the rotation shaft of the motor. The polygonal mirror is provided with a plurality of reflective facets. The vibration absorption device is provided for absorbing rotational vibration due to the eccentric mass of the polygonal mirror, by elastically moving in the radial direction of the polygonal mirror. Therefore, the linearity of a scan line scanned from the laser scanning unit to the photoreceptor medium can be maintained.
