    摘要: An electrical card connector (100) to be mounted on a printed circuit board and includes: an insulative housing (1) having a first receiving cavity (14) for receiving a first card (300) and a second receiving cavity (13) for receiving a second card (200), and a number of passageways (132), and a number of contacts retained in the passageways respectively. The contacts include a number of first contacts (3) each having a first contacting portion (32) for contacting with the first card, a first soldering portion (35) to be soldered onto the printed circuit board and a first base portion (30) connecting with the first contacting portion and the first soldering portion; a plurality of second contacts (2) spaced from the first contacts, and defining a second base portion (21) and a second contacting portion (22) extending forwardly from the second base portion to contact with the second card. The second contacting portion (22) is deflected to contact with the corresponding first contact upon an abutting engagement between the second contacts and the second card.

    摘要: An electrical card connector includes an insulative housing defining a card receiving space and a plurality of contacts for mating with a first card and a second card wider than the first card. A card restriction member is fixed to the insulative housing and includes a deformable main body upwardly extending into the card receiving space. The main body includes a pair of raised portions protruding upwardly beyond a guiding surface thereof with a depression formed between said pair of raised portions. With insertion of the first and the second cards into the card receiving space, the first card is received in the depression and restricted by the raised portions, and the second card is restricted by the side walls of the insulative housing for stable guiding insertion.

    摘要: An electrical card connector includes an insulative housing defining a card receiving space and a plurality of contacts for mating with a first card and a second card wider than the first card. A card restriction member is fixed to the insulative housing and includes a deformable main body upwardly extending into the card receiving space. The main body includes a pair of raised portions protruding upwardly beyond a guiding surface thereof with a depression formed between said pair of raised portions. With insertion of the first and the second cards into the card receiving space, the first card is received in the depression and restricted by the raised portions, and the second card is restricted by the side walls of the insulative housing for stable guiding insertion.

    摘要: A memory card connector includes an insulative housing, a plurality of contacts retained in the insulative housing, a card eject mechanism and metal shell attached to the insulative housing. The insulative housing defines a card receiving cavity for insertion of a memory card. The card eject mechanism includes a slider moveable along card-insertion or card-withdraw directions and a locking member fixed to the slider. The locking member includes a protrusion which forms a sideward dimple. The metal shell includes a top wall covering the card receiving cavity. The top wall defines a slit for receiving the protrusion. An arced surface of the dimple is driven to abut against an inner side of the slit in order to reduce friction therebetween.

    摘要: An electrical card connector for insertion of a card includes an insulative housing, a plurality of contacts and a push-push mechanism. The insulative housing defines a card receiving space and a side wall which includes a resistance wall and a notch located forward the resistance wall. The push-push mechanism includes a locking arm including a hook deformable in the notch and an engaging portion extending from the hook. When the card is fully inserted into the card receiving space to reach a final locking position, the hook locks with the depression of the card. When pulling out the card under such final locking position, the engaging portion abuts against the resistance wall for preventing the card from withdrawing from the card receiving space.
