摘要： A pair of pliers with multiple functions is disclosed. The pliers have a pair of shanks pivotally engaged with each other each having a jaw formed at one end thereof, a polygon hole defined in the other end to hold a tool head, a hammer formed on the outside of one of the jaws and a chisel formed on the other. In addition, teeth and a cutting edge are formed on the face of the corresponding jaws or shanks. Consequently, the pair of pliers can be used as a hammer, a chisel or a screwdriver. This can improve the flexibility of the pair of pliers.

摘要： A fishing reel has a spool base, a spool, a unidirectional control device and an axle penetrating the elements of the fishing reel. The unidirectional control, device has a limiting wheel with a driving roller recess to receive a driving roller. A plurality of first guide trenches is defined in the limiting wheel and inclinedly extends from the driving roller recess in a first direction. A plurality of second guide trenches is defined in the limiting wheel and inclinedly extends from the driving roller recess in a second direction opposite to the first direction. A biasing member is deformably received in each respective first guide trench. A brake block is movably received in each respective first guide trench. Accordingly, the rotating direction of the fishing reel is changeable by means of changing the locations of the brake blocks and the biasing members.

摘要： A fishing reel assembly includes a disk-shaped base defining an elongate slot, and a control member mounted on a first side of the base and formed with a slide slidably extending through the elongate slot. An inverted U-shaped control plate is movably mounted on a second side of the base and is secured to the slide of the control member to slide therewith. The control plate includes a first leg defining a first guiding slot and a second leg defining a second guiding slot. A first driven gear is rotatably and slidably received in the first guiding slot, and a second driven gear is rotatably and slidably received in the second guiding slot. A spool is rotatably mounted on the base, and a drive gear is fixedly mounted on the spool to rotate therewith and is rotatably disposed between the first driven gear and the second driven gear. In such a manner, the control plate can be adapted to displace between a first position where the first driven gear meshes with the drive gear to rotate therewith and a second position where the second driven gear meshes with the drive gear to rotate therewith.

摘要： A brake-adjusting assembly for a fishing reel with a spool and has a first brake-adjusting device and a second brake-adjusting device. The first brake-adjusting device is mounted around a spindle of the spool and has a clutch cam and a lever mount. The clutch cam has a main plate body, a mounting tube, a spring and an abutting base formed on and protruding from the main plate body. The lever mount abuts with the clutch cam and has two pushing blocks, a mounting recess and at least one lever. The second brake-adjusting device is connected to the first brake-adjusting device and the spindle and has a connecting mount, a threaded tube and an adjusting switch. The connecting mount is mounted in the mounting recess. The threaded tube is mounted in the connecting mount to screw with the spindle. The adjusting switch is securely connected to the connecting mount.
