摘要: An electrophotographic copying machine of a transfer type has a capability of reproducing an image on a copying paper selectively at a plurality of magnifications and also a capability of feeding copying papers of different sizes. The machine comprises a plurality of timers of a first group operable in common to all of modes of operation of the machine and a plurality of timers of a second group operable during a particular mode of operation, these timers of the first and second groups being sequentially controlled by a microcomputer.

摘要: An apparatus provided with a first reflector for reflecting a light beam deflected by a deflector in a light beam scanning apparatus and a second reflector for directing the light beam from the first reflector toward an image forming point after contacting again the first reflector. The light beam is reciprocated between the first and second reflectors thereby forming a light path of two times the space that they are disposed. A deflector is disposed on a side of the light path extending from the first reflector to the light beam image forming point together with a light beam emitting source which irradiate the light beam on the same level of the light path and make the light path length at both ends of the light beam scanning range equal to each other by arranging an angle between the first and second reflectors.

摘要: A transfer type electrophotographic copying apparatus for high speed copying system which includes a photoconductive photoreceptor in the form of an endless belt and movably suspended by a plurality of rollers so as to provide a plurality of flat surfaces. A flat portion which is formed on the photoreceptor belt facing a transfer corona charger and which is directed approximately parallel to a path of a copy paper sheet is effective for shortening the length of the paper path and for improving transferred images, while blower means disposed in a fixing device is adapted to assist in the separation of the copied paper from the photoreceptor belt in normal copying operation, and to direct cooling air to the fixing device in case of paper jamming. Heat shielding means is disposed between the fixing device and the photoreceptor belt.
