    摘要: The invention is to solve the problem in that mutual communication between an IPv6-capble device and an IPv4-capble device has not been carried out in a system wherein the IPv6-capble device and the IPv4-capble device are mixed. An entry of a live list is retrieved when SM Device Annunciation is received from the IPv6-capble device, and a transmission IPv4 address is acquired from an IPv4 address pool if the entry is not found, thereby preparing translation rules so as to be stored in a translation rules storage section, while preparing an entry to be registered in the live list, whereby an IP address in a message is translated with reference to the translation rules. Further, a timestamp of the entry is updated every time when the SM Device Annunciation is received. Even if the address is contained in the message, the mutual communication between the IPv6-capble device and the IPv4-capble device can be carried out, and devices connected to the system can be controlled.

    摘要: The objective of the present invention is to realize a structure which enables a client to utilize a translator without changing the DNS server specification, when a service targeted at general clients is provided. Therefore, the present invention is characterized by having an IPv6/IPv4 translator in which packets are translated reciprocally between IPv6 and IPv4 protocols, a configuration is employed so that a DNS query from a client reaches the translator DNS proxy using a dedicated domain effective as a specific DNS domain, and the above translator DNS proxy is able to be specified an operation by entering a defined character string in FQDN. While the present invention is also characterized by the fact that the above-described client specifies at least either an IPv6-based address or an IPv4-based address in FDQN as a desired address and the client also specifies at least either a translated address or an un-translated address as an address for the returning response. According to the present invention, communications via a translator can be used if necessary without changing the DNS server specification at the client terminal, and the user can communicate via a translator if necessary by explicitly specifying the address. In addition, since specifying a translator becomes unnecessary, it becomes possible for even general unspecified clients to utilize communication via a translator. Further, the user can specify the address translation policy for the translator DNS proxy.

    摘要: An object of the present invention is to realize packet communication between an IPv6 terminal connected to an IPv6 network and an IPv4 terminal connected to an IPv4 network. Another object of the present invention is to realize RTP communication for establishing sessions in accordance with SIP between an IPv6 terminal connected to an IPv6 network and an IPv4 terminal connected to an IPv4 network. For these objects, the present invention provides an IPv6/IPv4 translator for translating packets between IPv6 and IPv4 with means of translating addresses described in SIP messages into IPv6 addresses or IPv4 addresses. Moreover, the present invention provides the aforementioned IPv6/IPv4 translator with means of translating addresses described in SDP messages into IPv6 addresses or IPv4 addresses. These SDP messages shall be related to media data transmissions. Furthermore, the IPv6/IPv4 translator can be directly connected to a terminal connected to an IPv6 network and to a terminal connected to an IPv4 network, or can be connected via SIP proxy to an SIP terminal connected to an IPv6 network and to an SIP terminal connected to an IPv4 network. According to the present invention, the IPv6/IPv4 translator translates addresses described in SIP messages into IPv6 addresses or IPv4 addresses when translating packets from IPv6 to IPv4 or from IPv4 to IPv6. Therefore, it will be possible to perform communication from a terminal supporting IPv6 only to a terminal supporting IPv4 only. Also, it will be possible to perform communication from a terminal supporting IPv4 only to a terminal supporting IPv6 only. In addition, the IPv6/IPv4 translator translates addresses described in SDP messages into IPv6 addresses or IPv4 addresses when translating packets from IPv6 to IPv4 or from IPv4 to IPv6. Therefore, it will be possible to perform RTP communication for establishing sessions in accordance with SIP from IPv6 to IPv4 or conversely from IPv4 to IPv6, which is suitable for media data transmissions such as IP phone services.
