摘要： There is provided with a communication method including: attempting to receive a media packet from a network; storing a received media packet in a first buffering unit; receiving an FEC packet including redundant data to recover a lost media packet and information which specifies a plurality of media packets associated with the redundant data; storing a received FEC packet in a second buffering unit; selecting the FEC packet from the second buffering unit; dividing FEC operation processing to be carried out using the redundant data included in selected FEC packet and the media packets related to the redundant data into a plurality of processes and sequentially carrying out each process so that one process is carried out every time the receiving of a media packet is attempted; and inserting a media packet recovered through the FEC operation processing in the first buffering unit.

The correspondence memory stores a correspondence between the improving quality packet and the data packets. The improving quality processing unit performs an improving quality processing for recovering the lost data packet by using the redundant data and at least one of the data packets corresponding to the correspondence, in order to obtain a recovered data packet. The operation controller controls the improving quality processing unit to perform the improving quality processing. The recovered data packet processing unit stores the recovered data packet into the data packet buffer.

A receiving unit receives first approval information indicating that access to the resource in the device has been approved by an access approver, from the first application via the network. A first transmitting/receiving unit transmits an access approval request including the first approval information to the access approving apparatus, and receives access enable/disable information indicating whether the access to the resource by the first application is permitted, from the access approving apparatus. A token issuer, when the access enable/disable information indicates that the access to the resource is permitted, issues token information that gives authority to access the resource to the first application. A transmitting unit transmits the token information issued by the token issuer, to the first application.
