Abstract:
A liquefied carbon dioxide producing apparatus that can generate high-purity liquid CO2 free from moisture and organic matter such as oil includes: a recirculating system that carries out a recirculating treatment on CO2; and an introduction device that introduces CO2 from an external source of CO2 into the recirculating system. The recirculating system includes at least an evaporator that vaporizes CO2, a condenser that condenses CO2 from an outlet of the evaporator, and a storage tank that stores liquid CO2 generated by the condenser. The liquid CO2 in the storage tank is fed to a point-of-use and to the evaporator. An adsorption device that removes moisture and organic matter (oil) is provided on a line from the external source of CO2 to the condenser at a position where CO2 gas flows.
Abstract:
A vacuum pump includes: a rotor that is rotated to perform evacuation; a pump disassembly detection circuit that detects a disassembled state in which the vacuum pump is disassembled; and a pump operation prohibition circuit that prohibits rotary drive of the rotor when the pump operation prohibition circuit determines that the pump disassembly detection circuit has detected the disassembled state.
Abstract:
A composite particle is constituted to include: an aluminum nitride particle; a first coating layer that contains α-alumina and coats at least a part of a region of a surface of the aluminum nitride particle; and a second coating layer that contains organic matter and coats a region other than the first coating layer of the surface of the aluminum nitride particle.
Abstract:
There is provided with an image synthesizing device, including: a connection unit configured to connect to another image synthesizing device; a layout storage configured to store the image layout information of one or more synthesized image where a plurality of input images input into the image synthesizing device and the another image synthesizing device are laid out in desired positions; and one or more synthesized image generating units configured to generate one or more synthesized images using the image information read by a reading control unit of the image synthesizing device and the image information received by an image information receiving unit from the another image synthesizing device.
Abstract:
According to one embodiment, a communication apparatus includes a reception protocol processing unit, a control information queue, and a transmission protocol processing unit. The reception protocol processing unit performs a protocol process using control information included in a received frame, acquires the control information from the received frame, and acquires data when the data is included in the frame. The control information queue stores control information including at least one of a reception window size of other communication apparatus, area information representing an area of data received by the other communication apparatus, the reception window size of the communication apparatus, and area information representing an area of data received by the communication apparatus. The transmission protocol processing unit performs a protocol process using the control information stored in the control information queue, generates a frame of a transmission target, and transmits the frame through the network interface unit.
Abstract:
A communication method, including: sending a response signal including terminal information to a portable terminal upon receiving an identification information request; accepting periodically a connection request from the portable terminal during a period not shorter than a second period and three-fold period not longer than the second period, for each period not shorter than the third period and not longer than three-fold period of the third period; establishing a wireless link with the portable terminal upon receiving the connection request; and controlling an execution apparatus for executing a predetermined operation after the link connection establishment unit has established the wireless link.
Abstract:
Example video composition systems and methods involve scaling each of multiple input video images with scaling factors to generate a plurality of scaled input video images each corresponding to one of the input video images. The scaled input video images are written into regions in a video storage unit. Video image signals are read out from the video storage unit on the basis of each of multiple video layout information pieces, the video layout information prescribing layout of the input video images when the input video images are composed. A composite video image is generated from the video image signals read out from the video storage unit for every video layout information pieces piece.
Abstract:
A communication apparatus includes a first generation unit which sequentially generates image data in accordance with an event occurring due to a change in an operating state of an application program; a difference detecting unit which detects a difference between a plurality of consecutive image data generated by the first generation unit; a second generation unit which generates send data to be sent to the display terminal by compressing to the difference; a message generating unit which generates a message to change the spatial multiplexing number to either one or a plural number according to the change in the operating state of the application program or the difference; and a sending unit which sends the message to the wireless access apparatus prior to sending to the display terminal of the send data generated by the second generation unit.
Abstract:
A laser beam oscillated from a laser source is folded in its path by first and second plane mirrors and enters a beam expander. The surface of each plane mirror is deteriorated with illumination by the laser beam and the reflectance is reduced. To avoid a light quantity of the laser beam entering the beam expander from being reduced below a reference value, when the laser beam is illuminated over a certain time, a position on each of the first and second plane mirrors at which the laser beam is illuminated is changed by a structure for rotating and/or translating a reflecting surface of each plane mirror on a plane, which includes the plane mirror, while an optical axis is kept same. Thus, the useful life of each plane mirror can be prolonged without displacing the optical axis.
