摘要： A manufacturing instruction evaluation support system includes a data reading part that reads a manufacturing instruction parameter group and manufacturing performance data corresponding thereto, a parameter sorting part that calculates a risk rate for each manufacturing instruction parameter configuring the manufacturing instruction parameter group and an average value of risk rates among the manufacturing instruction parameters to identify as available choices the manufacturing instruction parameters having the risk rates no greater than the average value, a parameter identifying part that calculates an explanatory variable selection reference value for the manufacturing instruction parameter group and the manufacturing instruction parameters of the available choices with the multiple regression analysis program to identify the manufacturing instruction parameter group or the manufacturing instruction parameters of the available choices having the greater calculated explanatory variable selection reference value as optimum parameters, and a regression equation calculating part that calculates and displays a regression equation when employing the optimum parameters with the multiple regression analysis program.

摘要： A fixing device 6 according to the present invention has an endless-shaped heating belt 8, a first and a second roller 9 and 10 for stretching the heating belt 8, and a pressure roller 11 for nipping paper 2, together with the heating belt 8. The first roller 9 is supported so as to be rotatable by bearings 13 arranged at both ends of the first roller 9. The second roller 10 is supported so as to be rotatable by bearings 14 arranged at both ends of the second roller 10. The bearing 13 for supporting the first roller 9 is arranged more inward in an axial direction Z1 of the rollers than the bearing 14 for supporting the second roller 10.

摘要： A fixing apparatus used in an image forming apparatus has a fixing member for fixing toner on paper and a pressure member making contact therewith to form in between a nip through which paper is passed. The fixing member has a support member formed of a ferromagnetic material and a heating layer formed adjacent thereto in the form of a thin layer of a non-magnetic, electrically conductive material. When a high-frequency electric current is passed through an exciting coil that is combined with the fixing member, the fixing member produces a high-frequency magnetic field, thereby produces induced eddy currents in the heating layer of the fixing member, thereby produces Joule's heat in the heating layer, and thereby heats the fixing member. A leaking magnetic flux is absorbed by the support member of the ferromagnetic member, and thus has reduced influence on metal parts located around the fixing apparatus.

摘要： A fixing device 100 includes a fixing belt 102, a heat source 105, a support member 104, a pressure roller 103, and a reinforcing member 106. The fixing belt 102 has a metal sleeve. The heat source 105 is provided within the fixing belt 102. The support member 104 has a contact surface 104a that is in sliding contact with the inside surface of the fixing belt 102. The pressure roller 103 forms a nip with the bottom surface 104a between which the fixing belt 102 is sandwiched and pressed. The pressure roller 103 drives the fixing belt 102 to rotate. The reinforcing member 106 has a surface contacting the support member 104 on which a plurality of irregularities is formed. The reinforcing member 106 is positioned on a side opposite the support member to the bottom surface 104a, and receives a pressure force applied by the pressure roller 103.
