摘要： A pair of connectors which are designed so that at least one of the connectors is made movable not only in the X and Y directions but also in the Z direction so that the pair of connectors are fitted to each other in normal positions smoothly and securely. A pair of connector casings containing a pair of connectors respectively, which are designed so that at least one of the connector casings is made movable not only in the X and Y directions but also in the Z direction so that the pair of connectors are fitted to each other in normal positions smoothly and securely. Preferably, an elastic or flexible member is provided in at least one of the connector and the connector casing so that the connector or the connector casing is made movable in the X, Y and Z directions. Alternatively, a holding member using an elastic or flexible member is interposed so that the connector or the connector casing is made movable in the X, Y and Z directions. More preferably, the pair of connector casings are connected and tightened to each other by means of a bolt so that the pair of connectors are fitted to each other smoothly and securely.

摘要： A movable connector is provided. The connector is inserted into a panel hole so as to engage stoppers of movable locking arms with the inner rim of the panel hole. Thus, the connector can be movably mounted to the panel by virtue of the elasticity of the movable locking arms. Fixed locking members each having a stopper head at the top of the pin are provided outside the movable locking arms, while locking member receiving holes are formed through the panel. When the connector moves toward one side within the panel hole and approaches or reaches the disengagement position, where the movable locking arm on the opposite side is disengaged from the panel hole, the bottom surface of the stopper head of the corresponding fixed locking member is engaged with the rim of the corresponding locking member receiving hole so as to re-lock the connector to the panel.

摘要： An instrument is provided with a first connector, and an instrument panel is provided with a second connector. A bolt is provided extending from the first connector toward the second connector. A first thread is provided in the second connector, corresponding to the bolt. A second thread is provided on the instrument panel, at a position behind the first thread. The bolt is in a first position threaded into the first thread to couple the first and second connectors together, and in a second position threaded into the second thread to fix the instrument to the instrument panel. The coupling of connectors and the fixing of an instrument to an instrument panel are effected with one and the same bolt.

摘要： In an incomplete fitting prevention connector, when female and male housings are completely fitted together, a lock arm provided on one of housings is engaged in a retaining hole provided in the other. A fitting confirmation member is beforehand retained in the retaining hole, and since the lock arm enters the retaining hole, at least part of the fitting confirmation member is projected outwardly from the retaining hole. Therefore, the complete fitting can be confirmed from the exterior. After this confirmation, the fitting confirmation member can be removed.

摘要： Disclosed herein is a connector which comprises a female housing and a male housing to be fitted to said female housing for electrical connection therebetween. The connector has a locking structure including a locking arm having a locking edge portion provided on one of the housings and a locking projection provided on the other housing. The locking arm is flexibly supported on either the female or male housing and the locking projection is provided so as to be locked with the locking edge portion when the female and male housings are properly fitted together. The locking projection is constructed so as to camber the locking arm when the male housing is inserted into the female housing, thereby causing a restoring force to be generated in the locking arm. Further, the locking structure includes a member for increasing the restoring force to secure the fitting between the locking edge portion and locking projection without increasing the force required to disengage the locking structure.
