    摘要: A method for determining a sound standard for an input sound signal includes the following steps. Firstly, the input sound signal is filtered to obtain a first filtered signal corresponding to a first frequency and a second filtered signal corresponding to a second frequency. Next, the first filtered signal is frequency-demodulated to obtain a first demodulated filtered signal, and whether the input sound signal contains a FM analog component corresponding to the first frequency is determined accordingly. Next, the second filtered signal is decoded according to a digital sound standard to obtain a bit stream. Then, the bit steam is interpreted according to the digital sound standard, and whether the input sound contains a digital component corresponding to the digital sound standard is determined accordingly. Then, whether the input sound signal matches one of known sound standards is determined based on the determined results above.

    摘要: A quadrature encoding device with slope-triggered digitizing circuit is provided for use in a mechanical mouse. The quadrature encoding device is capable of producing two square-wave signals indicative of the current mouse movement for position control of the mouse cursor on the computer screen. The slope-triggered digitizing circuit includes a delay circuit and an analog comparator, which is capable of generating a first voltage output when the slope of the opto-electrical signal from the photo detector is positive, and a second voltage output when the slope is negative. It is characteristic feature of the quadrature encoding device that the output characteristic of the slope-triggered digitizing circuit would not be affected by any deviations in the output characteristic of the associated photo detectors, and also would not be affected by the ambient light. Moreover, the quadrature encoding device can operate without having to make adjustments on threshold voltage, which makes the quadrature encoding device more convenient to use, simpler in circuit complexity, and lower in manufacturing cost as compared to the prior art.

    摘要: The present invention discloses an optical sensing system which utilizes two sensors to detect positioning holes or an identification hole of a grid panel. The optical sensing system comprises a wheeled shaped grid panel, a sensing device and a control circuit. The panel has a grid array installed in it, and the grid array comprises a plurality of positioning holes and an identification hole. The sensing device is used for detecting movements of the grid array in left and right directions. The sensing device comprises a light source located at one side of the panel for emitting light, and two sensors located at another side of the panel for detecting the light emitted from the light source through any hole of the grid array and generating corresponding sensing signals. The control circuit is connected to the two sensors for converting the sensing signals generated by the two sensors into corresponding position signals or displacement signals. The two sensors of the sensing device are arranged in a tilted pattern over which one sensor is positioned above the other in up and down direction and the two sensors are not overlapped in left and right direction. And the shape of the identification hole is made according to the tilted pattern of the two sensors so that when any positioning hole of the grid array passes through the sensing device in left or right direction, the two sensors will sequentially detect the light passed through the positioning hole, and when the identification hole of the grid array passes through the sensing device, the two sensors will detect the light passed through the identification hole in the same time.
