摘要： A radiation system includes a measuring section of position and direction for computing relative position and direction between various components of the system; an irradiation condition correcting section for obtaining positions and directions of the irradiation target regions in the images using computation results obtained by the measuring section of position and direction and compared results obtained by comparing the irradiation target regions in the images taken by an irradiation target image acquisition section, and for correcting the irradiation conditions such that the obtained position and direction are reflected in the irradiation conditions; and a control section for controlling the radiation to the irradiation target region in response to the irradiation conditions obtained as a result of the correction by the irradiation condition correcting section. The irradiation system can solve a problem of a conventional system in that although the conventional system is effective for the radiation therapy to a head region, its irradiation accuracy is degraded in a trunk region such as abdominal organs where the effect of the body movement such as respiration is greater than in the head region, and hence the position and direction of the irradiation target is continuously changing.

摘要： A medical support system includes a patient-side system including patient shooting devices for photographing a patient's body and forming respective images displaying respective parts of the patient's body; a medical-side system located at a position spaced away from the patient-side system and including an image synthesizer for splicing together, at boundary portions, respective adjacent images of the patient's body to produce a composite image displaying an area of the patient's body extending across the respective images, and a display for displaying the composite image produced by the image synthesizer; and a communication link for transmitting information between the medical-side system and the patient-side system and for transferring the images produced by the patient shooting devices to the medical-side system.

摘要： In a medical simulator system, a physical model such as a medical phantom is no longer required so as to execute a simulated medical treatment. The medical simulator system is arranged by storage means for storing thereinto virtual model information and medical information, the virtual model information virtually constituting one of a portion of a human body, an entire human body, a portion of an animal, and an overall animal, whereas the medical information being directed to a medical treatment selected from an operation, an examination, and an experiment; a simulated medical instrument made by simulating a medical instrument used in the medical treatment; control means for controlling a condition of a simulated medical treatment which is virtually carried out by using the simulated medical instrument while using the virtual model information and the medical information stored in the storage means with respect to the simulated medical treatment virtually executed by the operator; and notifying means for notifying information acquired by the control means to the operator.
