摘要: A process for the fractional production of alkyltin oxides which comprises the steps of:subjecting a mono-, di- or trialkyltin halide to continuous hydrolysis at a temperature between 30.degree. to 100.degree. C. for a period of 10 minutes to 3 hours by the use of a 1% to 50% aqueous solution of a basic substance, thereby forming in the hydrolysis reaction mixture a dialkyltin oxide having an average particle diameter of 10 .mu.m or more, provided that where an intended alkyltin oxide is solid, the continuous hydrolysis is performed in the presence of an organic solvent slightly soluble in water and having a boiling point as measured under ordinary pressure of 150.degree. C. or lower and a specific gravity of 1.1 or smaller;allowing the resulting reaction mixture to stand, thereby to form three phases composed of an organic phase, an aqueous phase, and a phase consisting substantially of the dialkyltin oxide and having a specific gravity 0.02 or more larger than that of the aqueous phase;separating the three phases from one another; and isolating a bis(trialkyltin) oxide or a trialkyltin hydroxide from the organic phase, a monoalkyltin oxide from the aqueous phase, and the dialkyltin oxide from the phase consisting substantially of the dialkyltin oxide and having a specific gravity 0.02 or more larger than that of the aqueous phase.

摘要: The present invention provides composite material compositions using waste synthetic fiber released from fiber-related factories or general households. In an embodiment of the present invention, a thermoplastic synthetic resin may be incorporated with plasticizer(s), lubricant(s), and other additive(s), the mixture being molten and then kneaded with waste synthetic fiber which had been fibrillated into filaments, whereby said waste synthetic fiber is impregnated with the molten resin liquid to form a composite material composition. The present invention can thus provide inexpensive composite material compositions having excellent mechanical properties by making use of waste synthetic fiber which has been junked as waste so far, and lessening the rate of use of synthetic resins.

摘要: In order to provide a device with variable rigidity and a surgical gripping device that make it possible to increase the range of change in rigidity by means of a simple structure, this device with variable rigidity is configured so as to comprise two flexible sheets (12, 14) that include: a base material (20) formed using a sheet-like elastic material and having a plurality of recesses (20B) and a plurality of protrusions (20A) formed on one surface thereof; a low rigidity section (22) that is formed using an elastic material with a lower modulus of elasticity than the base material (20) and that is arranged in the recesses (20B) and joined to the recesses (20B) so that one surface of said low rigidity section (22) becomes flat; and a friction material (24) provided to the one surface. In addition, the two flexible sheets (12, 14) are covered by a bag-like cover with the two pieces of friction material (24) facing each other and are configured so as to have a ventilation port (18) whereby it is possible to suction the air within the flexible sheets (12, 14) and the cover (16) from the exterior of the cover (16).

摘要: A radiation system includes a measuring section of position and direction for computing relative position and direction between various components of the system; an irradiation condition correcting section for obtaining positions and directions of the irradiation target regions in the images using computation results obtained by the measuring section of position and direction and compared results obtained by comparing the irradiation target regions in the images taken by an irradiation target image acquisition section, and for correcting the irradiation conditions such that the obtained position and direction are reflected in the irradiation conditions; and a control section for controlling the radiation to the irradiation target region in response to the irradiation conditions obtained as a result of the correction by the irradiation condition correcting section. The irradiation system can solve a problem of a conventional system in that although the conventional system is effective for the radiation therapy to a head region, its irradiation accuracy is degraded in a trunk region such as abdominal organs where the effect of the body movement such as respiration is greater than in the head region, and hence the position and direction of the irradiation target is continuously changing.

摘要: This invention provides composite material compositions comprising wastepaper, a thermoplastic resin and/or other additive(s), said compositions having higher heat resistance, flame retardancy and mechanical strength and smaller linear shrinkage in molding than the conventional compositions of synthetic resins alone or blended with woodmeal or an inorganic filler. There is also provided a method of producing said compositions comprising a wastepaper crushing step, a step of mixing crushed wastepaper with a thermoplastic resin and/or other additive(s) while drying said wastepaper, a blend melting step, a blend kneading step and a blend granulating step. In an embodiment of this invention, scraps of moldings from the composite material compositions using wastepaper may be mixed with wastepaper, a thermoplastic resin and/or other additive(s) and similarly treated and molded into a new composition.
