摘要： A powder filling apparatus that can prevent a screw portion of an auger screw from contacting an inner surface of a metering portion at a funnel lower end portion. The powder filling apparatus includes a funnel that contains powder, and a circular-cylindrical metering portion provided at a lower end portion of the funnel, an auger screw arranged vertically, and a support device that supports the auger screw rotatably. The auger screw has a lower end provided with a screw portion that is arranged within the metering portion. The funnel is suspended from the support device and supported thereto and the metering portion has a center axis made substantially coincident with an axis of rotation of the auger screw.

摘要： The present invention provides a powder filling apparatus which can prevent a screw portion of an auger screw from contacting an inner surface of a metering portion at a funnel lower end portion and besides facilitate the assembling work as well as can be made compact and put into practice at a low cost. The powder filling apparatus comprises a funnel (2) which contains powder, and a circular-cylindrical metering portion (3) provided at a lower end portion of the funnel (2), an auger screw arranged vertically, and a support device (5) which supports the auger screw (4) rotatably. The auger screw (4) has a lower end provided with a screw portion (18) which is arranged within the metering portion (3). The funnel (2) is suspended from the support device (5) and supported thereto and the metering portion (3) has a center axis (3a) made substantially coincident with an axis of rotation (4a) of the auger screw (4).

摘要： This invention is directed to an apparatus for filling powder which comprises introducing a predetermined amount of powder into each of the receiving holes formed at the peripheral edge portion of a rotary disk from a powder hopper, intermittently rotating the rotary disk, and discharging and filling the powder accommodated in each of the receiving holes into a powder container positioned therebelow when each of the receiving holes reaches a discharging and filling portion. The rotational axis (C) of the rotary disk (1) is inclined. The center axis of each of the receiving holes (8) is arranged on an imaginary conical surface (12) having this rotational axis (C) as its center axis and an apex angle (.theta.) of 60.degree. to 120.degree.. The powder hopper (6) is disposed on the lateral side portion of an opening (8a) of the receiving hole (8) at a vacuum sucking portion (9) and a boss portion (28) supporting the rotational axis (34) of the agitator (7) is arranged above the powder hopper (6). This apparatus is suitable for being used at the step of filling various kinds of powder, especially injection or the like powdered pharmaceutical product requiring the accuracy of the amount to be filled and the non-contamination of foreign matters, into vials or the like containers.

摘要： An apparatus for detecting the presence of a foreign matter on each solid drug item by scanning the surface of the solid drug item with a television camera and for generating a pulse signal when the level of a scanning signal thereof exceeds a predetermined value includes a shift register for temporarily storing, for each address, the pulse signal per scan line of the camera and for outputting the signal sequentially for each address during the next succeeding scan; an OR gate for receiving both an address output from the shift register and the next succeeding address output; an AND gate for receiving both an output from the OR gate and an output at the address corresponding to the address output at the next succeeding scan line; a counter for counting pulse signals fed thereto from the AND gate; and an output circuit for generating a detection signal indicative of the detection of foreign matter when the count of the counter is greater than a predetermined value, whereby a pulse signal bridging between the neighboring addresses and also between the adjoining scan lines can be output by the counter so that foreign matter of a length and width corresponding to the output thereof can be detected.
