    摘要: In an embodiment of the described technology, a multi-chamber cup is used to brew coffee or other (hot) drink in a brewing machine. Such a device allows one to add any coffee, but use all the features of an automated single-cup or multi-cup brewing machine. The multi-chamber cup has an inner cup, an intermediate cup, and an outer cup each having sides with circular cross-sections between a top side and bottom side, defining an inner cavity there-between, each with a lip at a top side of the respective cup, extending outwards from a respective inner cavity of each cup. This allows water to enter and flow through multiple cups (at least three) before exiting the multi-chamber cup, such that the liquid becomes homogenized with dissolved particulate solid matter to produce a flavorful, high-quality drink.

    摘要: A difference between a first expected required polish time for a first substrate and a second expected required polish time for a second substrate is determined using a first pre-polish thickness and a second pre-polish thickness measured at an in-line metrology station. A duration of an initial period is determined based on the difference between the first expected required polish time and the second expected required polish time. For the initial period at a beginning of a polishing operation, no pressure is applied to whichever of the first substrate and the second substrate has a lesser expected required polish time while simultaneously pressure is applied to whichever of the first substrate and the second substrate has a greater expected required polish time. After the initial period, pressure is applied to both the first substrate and the second substrate.

    摘要: An apparatus for dispensing respectively predetermined quantities of pulverulent contents has a rotatably drivable metering roller containing at least one metering chamber and a material store which stores the pulverulent contents. The metering roller contains at least one lateral line, which is not line-connected to the metering chamber and of which the at least two line ends terminate on the surface of the metering roller. A gas line is guided into the housing and passes out of the housing again in a concave surface region. Gas is introduced into the material store via the lateral line, in dependence on the respective rotary position of the metering roller, through said gas line. Depending upon the rotary positions of the metering roller, the gas line, which fluidizes the contents present in the material store, is closed or opened by the metering roller.

    摘要: Apparatus and method for filling spaced apart cavities with particulate material include a transport for moving the cavities along a path of travel. The cavities are partially filled with particulate material at an upstream location while applying vacuum underneath each cavity during such partial filling. The partially filled cavities are then completely filled with a downstream deposit of particulate material while applying vacuum to the upper sides of each cavity during such filling. The combination of vacuum applied underneath the cavity during partial fill and vacuum applied to the top sides of the cavity during complete fill produces approximately 100% cavity fill with minimal extraneous scatter of particulate material.

    摘要: A compact and efficient continuous wrapping machine capable of measuring out certain amounts of a magnetic powder automatically and wrapping them in wrapping film, the continuous wrapping machine comprising a measuring drum, a sealing drum, and a sealing device. The measuring drum includes a means for retaining measured-out amounts of the magnetic powder on its periphery and a means for cutting off the retaining force of the retaining means to transfer the measured-out amounts of the magnetic powder to the sealing drum. The sealing drum includes a means for retaining the measured-out amounts of the magnetic powder on a first continuous wrapping film fed onto its periphery. The sealing device seals the first continuous wrapping film and a second continuous wrapping film, which is fed onto the measured-out amounts of the magnetic powder on the sealing drum, together around each of the measured-out amounts of the magnetic powder.
