摘要： An imaging apparatus includes an imaging portion that images an omnidirectional subject on the basis of an imaging position when imaging is performed and generates a circular image including the omnidirectional subject, an image processing portion that specifies a substantially fan-shaped object region in a circular image which is generated on the basis of a direction specified based on an attitude of an imaging apparatus in the imaging position among all directions and converts an image of the object region into a substantially rectangular image, and a display control portion that simultaneously displays a conversion image which is the converted image and the generated circular image on a display portion.

摘要： An imaging apparatus includes an imaging unit generating a plane image including a subject by imaging the subject in a specific direction or a stereoscopic image for stereoscopically viewing the subject; an adapter mounting detection unit detecting whether an adapter, which includes an omnidirectional imaging optical system imaging the subject in all directions, is mounted on the imaging unit; an image capture mode setting unit setting, based on a user operation, an omnidirectional image capture mode of recording the plane image including the subject in all directions in a state where the adapter is mounted on the imaging unit or a stereoscopic image capture mode of recording the stereoscopic image; and a control unit performing control to cancel the stereoscopic image capture mode and set the omnidirectional image capture mode in a case where the stereoscopic image capture mode is set when the mounting of the adapter is detected.

摘要： An image processing apparatus includes a posture detection unit detecting a posture of the image processing apparatus, an image capturing unit generating a planar image including a subject or a stereoscopic image for stereoscopy of the subject, a mode setting unit setting any one of a planar image capturing mode and a stereoscopic image capturing mode, an image conversion unit converting the image through performing of aspect conversion and reduction processes, and a control unit operating to record the stereoscopic image on a recording medium regardless of the detected posture of the image processing apparatus if the stereoscopic image capturing mode is set and to record any one of the planar image and a converted image obtained by converting the planar image on the recording medium on the basis of the detected posture of the image processing apparatus if the planar image capturing mode is set.
