    摘要: An inference method and an inference apparatus for use with a knowledge base system and knowledge base system supporting method and apparatus using the inference method and apparatus wherein there are employed rules each being comprised of a set of (1) a condition description part including a condition stipulating a plurality of states of a frame representing an object and constituting an object world of at least one pair of a slot and a value thereof and (2) an operation description part stipulating an operation to be executed when the condition is satisfied. For an inference processing, a rule for which a condition of its condition description part is satisfied is executed according to an operation described in the operation description part. A condition judging sequence is specified for satisfaction of a condition for each frame of the condition description part of the rule. It is also specified whether or not information related to a processing result obtained from a condition judge processing on each said frame is stored in a memory. Condition judgements are achieved for satisfaction of conditions respectively associated with the frames of the condition description part according to the specified sequence based on the processing results in the memory, thereby conducting a reasoning operation.

In association with an intra-node, a candidate node is disposed in another conditional clause referencing a variable, and a data which was previously accepted but which did not satisfy the conditions or a data most likely to pass through the network is stored in the candidate node in advance. For the intra-node in the object processing, the value of the candidate node is loaded for judging the conditions.

    摘要: A method of resource allocating to respective unit processes is disclosed which comprises, in order to allow the resource allocation based on experimental know-how of operation without assistance of a system operator, the steps of storing information of each unit processor including its priority, and names and functions of the resources required by that unit processor; storing information of each resource including an operation status and a process content of that resource; storing experimental know-how obtained in the operation of the system; and carrying out resource allocation to the unit processes in accordance with the stored experimental know-how when the operation status of the system corresponds to the stored experimental know-how and in the order of priorities of the unit processes as stored by taking reference to the stored information of each resource when the operation status of the system does not correspond to the stored experimental know-how, thereby improving the utilization efficiency of the resources.

    摘要: A knowledge-based system comprising a plurality of knowledge processors each of which includes a knowledge base and performs a reasoning process for replying to a request from a user, and a file server which is connected to the knowledge processors through a transmission line. When each knowledge processor cannot resolve the user's request with the knowledge base of its own, it sends a request message to the other processor or processors through the transmission line. Reply messages from the other knowledge processors complying with the request message are managed in correspondence with the requests by the file server which receives the reply messages, and when a predetermined condition has been established, a reply is given to the knowledge processor which is the source of the request. Thus, each knowledge processor replies to the user's requests while automatically switching the reasoning process in a local mode which utilizes only the knowledge base of the processor itself and the reasoning process in a multiple or global mode which is based on cooperation of the other knowledge processor or processors.

    摘要: It is an object to provide a computer system including a practical input device which can be operated with more natural sense. The present input pen which is used in combination with a tablet includes: a speech recognition unit for analyzing a speech sound, which is fetched in through a microphone, as a command or the like; an image reconfiguring unit for composing, after correcting image distortion generated due to inclination of the pen body for each image in the vicinity of a pen head which is photographed along with the strokes of the input pen by a CCD camera, the series of images into a general image; and a reference line generating circuit for lasing a laser beam with which a projected image utilized to calculate an angle of inclination is formed onto a face of an object of photographing. In addition, since an oscillation circuit generates a magnetic field corresponding to the data forming the general image on the basis of control by an a.c. magnetic field control circuit, the data can be transferred to the information processor side through the tablet. Further, a CPU executes the processing corresponding to the result of analyzing a sound.
