摘要: A method for evaluating neuronal functional connectivity can be used as a model for evaluating functional repair against damage to neuronal populations. The method can be used for multiple cell populations that are spaced apart from each other and connected via neurites, A method for evaluating neuronal functional connectivity in vitro involves cutting the neurites; observing the dynamics of neurons whose neurites have been cut; and measuring the electrical activity of each of the plurality of cell populations before and after the cutting. At least one of the cell populations contains neurons.

摘要: Provided is discharging device including liquid droplet discharging unit configured to discharge liquid droplet containing a light-emitting particle that undergoes luminescence in response to irradiation of light, light irradiating unit configured to irradiate liquid droplet discharged by liquid droplet discharging unit with the light, light detecting unit configured to detect luminescence by light-emitting particle contained in liquid droplet in response to irradiation of the light emitted by light irradiating unit, and average particle number calculating unit configured to determine presence/absence of light-emitting particle in liquid droplet based on whether light detecting unit has detected luminescence by light-emitting particle, and calculate average particle number, which is average, among all liquid droplets discharged, in number of light-emitting particles contained per liquid droplet, based on ratio of liquid droplets containing no light-emitting particle relative to all the liquid droplets discharged, the ratio being calculated based on the presence/absence of light-emitting particle.

摘要: Provided is a three-dimensional culture structure that is excellent in cell adhesion and cell stretching and can be produced efficiently. The three-dimensional culture structure includes cells, a cell support material configured to support the cells, and bioaffinity particles. In a preferable mode, the bioaffinity particles are exposed from at least part of the surface of the cell support material, or the bioaffinity particles are protruded from the cell support material, or a surface area occupation rate at which the bioaffinity particles are exposed is 20% or greater of the entire surface of the three-dimensional culture structure, or the bioaffinity particles are dispersed in the cell support material.

摘要: Provided is a cell contained container including at least two concaves, wherein the concaves contain cells, wherein a number of kinds of the cells is at least two with respect to the cell contained container, and wherein a shortest distance between centers of most closely adjacent two concaves of the at least two concaves is 9.0 mm or less. In a preferable mode, the concaves contain a liquid, and a total liquid amount of the liquid with respect to the concaves is 10.0 microliters or less. In a more preferable mode, a filling accuracy in terms of a number in which the cells are contained in the concaves is 30% or lower.
