摘要: A pin connection structure is used in a floating type brake disc assembly. The assembly is made up of a hub, and an annular disc which is concentrically disposed around the hub with a clearance therebetween. The hub and the disc have plural sets of semicircular connecting dents opening toward the clearance to thereby form respective inserting holes. A hollow pin is inserted into each of the inserting holes with a washer fitted on that one end of the hollow pin which is subsequently caulked radially outward for fixing the washer in position. The hollow pin is made of a metal having a surface-treated layer, and the caulked end of the hollow pin is formed into a convex shape in at least part of the end portion.

摘要: In a master cylinder device for a vehicle having a master cylinder with a cylinder body attached in the vicinity of a grip of a steering bar handle, and an operating lever which is supported on the cylinder body through a pivot and is pulled toward the grip to thereby push a piston of the master cylinder, the cylinder body is mounted in such a position that, below the axis of the bar handle, the axis of the cylinder body is substantially orthogonal to a vertical plane which includes the axis of the bar handle, whereby the master cylinder can be mounted even in a narrow space on the bar handle in a motorcycle and the like having a steering bar handle.

摘要: A motorcycle in which a front end portion of a rear swing arm for rotatably supporting a rear wheel is swingably supported via a supporting shaft by an engine supported by a body frame. The rigidity of a rear swing arm is enhanced without increasing the weights of the supporting shaft and the like. Upper end portions of a pair of right and left bracket are fixed to both ends of a supporting shaft. A cross-pipe connects lower end portions of the brackets and is fixed to the engine at a position under the supporting shaft. A pair of right and left rotatably supporting portions are swingably supported by the supporting shaft at positions between the brackets and the engine.

摘要: The shock absorber includes an oil pressure damper (1), a piston rod (2) and a cushion spring (3), wherein the cushion spring (3) contacts to the piston rod side with an end thereof and another end (6) thereof contacts to a spring receiving face (8) of a spring seat (7). Since the spring seat (7) is integrated with an adjuster (10) by engaging claws (9) with the adjuster (10) and is also integrated with a movable cover (20), the spring seat (7), the adjuster (10) and the movable cover (20) rotate and move to an axial direction as one body. Further, an O-ring (17) is provided in a space formed by an lower end face (15) of the spring receiving face (8) and an inner side arc portion of a flange (11) between an outer face of the oil pressure damper (1) and therewith, the lower end face (15) of the spring receiving surface (8) and the inner side arc portion (16) and is elastically supported by the O-ring (17) in a state that the space formed between the outer surface of the oil pressure damper (1) and therewith is buried in non-looseness.
