摘要： A method and apparatus for performing channel estimation in a wireless communication system, in which a channel estimate of each pilot tone included in adjacent first and second resource allocation blocks is calculated. Channel estimates of first pilot tones are detected, which have a predetermined subcarrier spacing or less from the second resource allocation block, channel estimates of second pilot tones are detected; and which have a predetermined subcarrier spacing or less from the first resource allocation block. The channel estimates of the first and second pilot tones are updated, and channel estimation is then performed using the updated channel estimates.

摘要： An apparatus and a method for estimating a Noise and Interference (NI) power in a communication system are provided. The method includes, calculating average values of impulse responses according to ranging codes, through use of a ranging signal sequence received through a resource allocated to a ranging channel, arranging the average values of the impulse responses according to ranging codes in order of the highest value to the lowest value, and multiplying a ranging code, which corresponds to an impulse response having an (x+1)th peak value among the arranged average values of the impulse responses, by a specific threshold value, and estimating the NI power, wherein “x” represents a number of ranging codes which can be simultaneously received by one ranging channel.

摘要： A method and apparatus for removing an echo signal in a signal transmission/reception apparatus of a communication system is provided. A signal transmission/reception apparatus estimates an input channel response using a training sequence, generates a first signal by removing the input channel response from a first reception signal, detects an echo channel impulse response using the first signal, detects an echo signal removing coefficient using the echo channel impulse response, generates a second signal in which an echo signal is removed by applying the echo signal removing coefficient to a second reception signal, and removes the second signal from a third signal, wherein the first signal is received prior to receiving the second signal and the second signal is received prior to receiving the third signal.
