Abstract: A method is for inserting a further data block into a first ledger, the first ledger including data blocks. In an embodiment, the method includes receiving a further medical dataset via an interface; determining the further data block via a calculation unit. The further data block includes the further medical dataset and a further link information. The further link information includes a hash of at least one of the data blocks of the first ledger. Finally, in an embodiment the method includes inserting the further data block into the first ledger via the calculation unit.

Abstract: A computer-implemented method is for providing a digital certificate to a device. In an embodiment, the method is based on receiving, from the device, authentication data via a secure communication channel. Furthermore, the method is based on receiving, from the device, or determining, by the server, a first certificate identifier. In particular, the first certificate identifier is a hash value. Further aspects of the method are verifying the authentication data and receiving, from the device, a first public key created by the device. In an embodiment, the method is furthermore based on sending a first certificate signing request related to a first domain name based on the first public key to a certificate authority. Herein, the first domain name comprises the certificate identifier, and a domain related to the first domain name is controlled by the server. In particular, the first domain name is a wildcard domain.

Abstract: The invention relates to a method for logging a service technician into an electrical device (20), comprising the following steps: production (3, 4) of a secret key (SKY) as an encrypted login password (LPW) by the electrical device (20), displaying (5) of the secret key (SKY) on a display unit (23) of the electrical device (20) as a QR code (QRC), optical sensing (6) of the QR code (QRC) by means of a mobile device (22), decryption (9) of the login password (LPW) from the secret key (SKY) of the sensed QR code (QRC) by the mobile device (22), displaying of the login password (LPW) on a screen unit (24) of the mobile device (22), entering of the login password (LPW) into the electrical device (20) by the service technician, comparison (10) of the entered login password (LPW) with the produced login password (LPW) by the electrical device (20), release of the login by the electrical device (20) if the two login passwords (LPW) match. The invention further relates to an associated apparatus. The advantage of the invention lies in the combination of the high strength of the cryptographic security with the user friendliness of the QR code and of the relatively short login password to be entered.
