    摘要: A magazine for rimmed cartridges includes a magazine tube having first left and right ribs on an inside of the magazine tube extend inward from a forward portion of opposite sidewalls and are laterally spaced by a first spacing. Second left and right ribs on an inside of the magazine tube extend inward from a rear portion of opposite sidewalls and are laterally spaced by a second spacing that is greater than the first spacing. When the magazine is filled to capacity with rimmed cartridges, cartridges in the magazine are arranged in two offset columns with projectiles of the rimmed cartridges laterally spaced from a median plane by a first distance and rims of the rimmed cartridges laterally spaced from the median plane by a second distance that is greater than the first distance. Also disclosed is a baseplate that attaches to a magazine tube using a snap fit.

An actuator is coupled to the breechblock and is configured to move between first and second positions. A lever on the breechblock in contact with the actuator is movable between a blocking position and a non-blocking position. For example, the lever is generally oriented along the central axis and extends rearward beyond a proximal face of the breechblock. When the actuator is in the first position, the lever is in the blocking position. When the actuator is in the second position the lever is in the non-blocking position. When assembled in a firearm, an end of the lever is positioned to block the hammer from striking the firing pin when the breechblock is out of battery by more than a predefined distance.

    摘要: A takedown lever assembly for a semiautomatic handgun includes a receiver, a slide displaceable along a top of the receiver, a grip portion defining a magazine well, and a fire control group that includes a trigger pivotable between a resting position and a pulled trigger position. The takedown lever assembly includes a takedown actuation lever operable between a firing position and a takedown position. In the takedown position the takedown actuation lever permits removal of the slide from the frame. A safety block is operatively coupled to the takedown actuation lever, wherein moving the takedown actuation lever from the firing position to the takedown position moves the safety block rearward, thereby blocking the trigger from rotating to the pulled trigger position. In some embodiments, the takedown lever rotates counterclockwise from the firing position to the takedown position as viewed looking at a left side of the handgun.
