摘要： A channel interleaving method and apparatus in a communication system using a low density parity check (LDPC) code. Upon receipt of information data bits, an encoder encodes the information data bits into an LDPC codeword using a predetermined coding scheme. A channel interleaver interleaves the LDPC codeword according to a predetermined channel interleaving rule. A modulator modulates the channel-interleaved LDPC codeword into a modulation symbol using a predetermined modulation scheme.

摘要： An apparatus and method for reducing transmission overhead in a broadband wireless communication system are provided. In a transmitter in a broadband wireless communication system where total time resources are divided according to lengths of transmission data and the transmission data are allocated to the divided time resources, a header generator generates a header including data allocation information and control information for a frame to be transmitted, and a traffic channel constructer constructs a traffic channel by combining the header with a burst.

摘要： A call connection method and apparatus in a communication system are provided, in which a call connection request message is received from each of first and second terminals, it is determined whether the first and second terminals are requesting a call connection to each other, one of the first and second terminals is selected if the first and second terminals are requesting a call connection to each other, the call connection request of the selected terminal is rejected, and a call is connected between the first and second terminals by performing a call connection to the selected terminal according to the call connection request of the non-selected terminal.

The power control apparatus includes an uplink power determiner for determining an uplink power value using a power control computation element of a current frame, which is acquired using a power control computation element of a prior frame and a power increase/decrease change estimated from a downlink, and a cell interference received from a base transceiver station (BTS); and an uplink power controller for controlling an uplink power by sending the uplink power value from the uplink power determiner to a transmitter.

摘要： A cell search apparatus and method in an OFDM mobile communication system are provided. In the cell search apparatus, a symbol synchronization acquirer acquires OFDM symbol synchronization by performing CP correlation for a plurality of OFDM symbol intervals. A frame cell synchronization acquirer sorts received OFDM symbols according to the acquired OFDM symbol synchronization, and acquires frame cell synchronization by performing preamble correlation for a plurality of frame cell intervals. A pilot pattern detector sorts received frame cells according to the acquired frame cell synchronization, and detects a pilot pattern for identifying a base station by monitoring a plurality of frame cells.

摘要： A transmitting/receiving apparatus and method in a mobile communication system are provided. In a transmitter, an encoder encodes input information data and outputs systematic bits on a first channel and redundancy bits on a second channel. A first channel interleaver interleaves the systematic bits and a second channel interleaver interleaves the redundancy bits. A modulator maps one channel data of I and Q channel data, received from the first channel interleaver and another channel data of the I and Q channel data, received from the second channel interleaver to a modulation symbol using different mapping rules for I and Q channels.

The method includes performing a subband-based permutation on resources for composing a subchannel; selecting one or more subbands as resources for a band selection subchannel from the resources passing through the subband-based permutation; composing the band selection subchannel using at least one of the selected subbands; performing a resource allocation unit based permutation on resources not selected for the band selection subchannel; composing a resource allocation unit based diversity subchannel using subband remained in the selected subbands after the band selection subchannel is composed and at least one of the resource allocation units of the resources passing through the resource allocation unit based permutation; and composing a tone-based diversity subchannel by performing a tone-based permutation on resources remained after the resource allocation unit based diversity subchannel is composed.
