    摘要: A detection device for detecting the presence of a living being at a predetermined location within a monitored area comprises an evaluation unit configured to evaluate radar radiation received by a radar unit from an assigned radar area included in said monitored area in response to radar radiation emitted by said radar unit to detect if a living being is present within said radar area and to localize a detected living being within said radar area, and a detection unit configured to correlate the location of a detected living being in said radar area with a set of predetermined locations in said monitored area to detect the presence of a living being at a predetermined location of said monitored area.

    摘要: A device for determining a DC component in a zero-IF radio receiver comprises an input configured to receive a complex baseband signal; and an analyzer configured to analyze the complex baseband signal to determine a DC component in the complex baseband signal by selecting at least three samples of the complex baseband signal and determining the intersection of at least two perpendicular bisectors of at least two straight lines, each straight line running through a different pair of two of said selected samples, said intersection representing the DC component. Further, a corresponding method, a radar device and a radar method are disclosed.

Transmission antennas are provided on a first communication apparatus while reception antennas individually corresponding to the transmission antennas are provided on a corresponding second communication apparatus. Each reception antenna receives a desired wave from a corresponding transmission antenna as a direct wave and receives an unnecessary wave from a different transmission antenna as a direct wave. The first communication apparatus modulates only the amplitude of a carrier signal for all channels. The second communication apparatus demodulates composite waves of desired waves and unnecessary waves received by the reception antennas by envelope detection or square-law detection and carries out correction operation for the demodulation signals based on transmission characteristics of transmission spaces between the transmission and reception antennas to acquire transmission subject signals.
