Abstract: There is provided an information processing device to dynamically update map information in response to change in the real world, with higher accuracy, the information processing device including: an acquisition section configured to acquire observation information related to a unit space in a real world, from one or a plurality of sensors; and a communication section configured to transmit the observation information acquired in the unit space, on a basis of information related to inconsistency between a reference map and the unit space in the real world. In addition, provided is an information processing device including: a communication section configured to receive observation information related to a unit space in a real world, the observation information being acquired from one or a plurality of sensors; and a map generation section configured to generate a reference map on a basis of the observation information. The observation information is transmitted on a basis of information related to inconsistency between the reference map and the unit space in the real world.
