Abstract: [Problem] To predict a remaining time during which a fluorescence image is observable.
[Solution] An information processing device according to the present disclosure includes a remaining time estimation unit that estimates, on the basis of a luminance limit value for observation of a fluorescence image and a change in luminance of a fluorescence image, a remaining time until the luminance of the fluorescence image reaches the luminance limit value. This configuration enables the time at which the luminance of a fluorescence image reaches the luminance limit value to be estimated according to a change in luminance of the fluorescence image, and it is possible to predict a remaining time during which a fluorescence image is observable.-

Abstract: The present technology relates to an endoscope that makes it possible to acquire a high-resolution medical image with low power consumption.The endoscope includes a camera head including: a first sensor having pixels of a first number of pixels, the first sensor being configured to receive green (G) light that is light with a G wavelength band; and a second sensor having pixels of a second number of pixels smaller than the first number of pixels, the second sensor being configured to receive light different from the G light. The present technology is applicable to, for example, an endoscopic surgery system with which surgery is performed while a medical image captured by the endoscope is viewed.

Abstract: An image acquisition system includes: a light source unit; an imaging unit; a medical tool detection unit; and an image processing unit. The light source unit applies, to an affected part in which a medical tool that emits fluorescence by irradiation of excitation light is present, normal light and the excitation light. The imaging unit images the affected part under irradiation with the excitation light and under irradiation with the normal light, and acquires a first image signal obtained by imaging the fluorescence and a second image signal obtained by imaging the normal light. The medical tool detection unit detects, on the basis of the first image signal, an area in which the medical tool is present in a first image obtained from the first image signal. The image processing unit generates a display image using a result of detecting the area in which the medical tool is present and the second image signal.

Abstract: An image processing part applies an image process by software to a surgical region image, and a display control part controls a display of the surgical region image to which the image process is applied. The image processing part produces a pre-update processed image acquired by applying the image process established before updating the software to the surgical region image and a post-update processed image acquired by applying the image process established after updating the software to the surgical region image, and the display control part controls a display of at least a portion of at least either one of the pre-update processed image or the post-update processed image. The present technique is applicable to a CCU of an endoscopic surgery system.
