摘要: To provide a demodulation circuit, a processing circuit, a processing method, and a processing device that are capable of implementing more prompt acquisition of alert information. Provided is a demodulation circuit including a demodulation unit configured to demodulate a broadcast signal received by a reception circuit that receives the broadcast signal, a determination unit configured to determine whether or not acquisition of alert information included in the demodulated broadcast signal is necessary according to a set operation mode, on the basis of first alert notification information indicating an update state of the alert information included in the demodulated broadcast signal, and an output processing unit configured to output second alert notification information corresponding to the operation mode from a predetermined terminal to which a processing circuit having a function to acquire the alert information is electrically connected, in a case where acquisition of the alert information is determined to be necessary.

The data processing apparatus installed in a transmission-side facility processes a transmission frame transmitted as a broadcast signal and adds identification information for identifying the transmission format of the transmission frame, while a data processing apparatus installed in a reception-side facility processes a transmission frame in which a transmission frame has been identified, on the basis of identification information added to the transmission frame transmitted as the broadcast signal. The present technology can be applied as a method of a test stream, for example.

摘要: The present disclosure relates to a reception apparatus, a reception method, and a program for generating a time stamp with a simple circuit structure that is realized at low cost. In one example, a reception apparatus includes a reception unit, an obtaining unit, a time stamp increment value specifying unit, a time stamp calculating unit and a time stamp adding unit. The reception unit receives a data stream formed of a series of packets. The obtaining unit obtains a transmission parameter from the received data stream. The time stamp increment value specifying unit specifies a time stamp increment value corresponding to the obtained transmission parameter. The time stamp calculating unit updates the time stamp by adding the specified time stamp increment value to a previous time stamp, and the time stamp adding unit adds the updated time stamp to the packets configuring the data stream.

摘要: Channel bonding is realized in a receiving apparatus that receives terrestrial digital broadcasting compliant with an ATSC 3.0 Standard. A receiving section selects any one of a plurality of frequency channels as a bonding source channel and receives a frame from the bonding source channel. A control section performs processing for obtaining one frequency channel in which packets are to be bonded with the bonding source channel among the plurality of frequency channel as a bonding destination channel on the basis of the frame and processing for controlling the receiving section to newly receive a frame from the bonding destination channel. A decoding section decodes the frame and acquires the packets. A bonding section bonds together the packets corresponding to the bonding source channel and the packets corresponding to the bonding destination channel.

The transmission device generates and transmits an OFDM signal in which additional information of a physical layer is allocated to additional carriers in each of groups, the groups being obtained by grouping the additional carriers to be used for transmission of the additional information, of carriers of the OFDM signal of one frame, into the groups of the number of groups according to a DFT size of when IDFT of the OFDM signal is performed. The reception device receives the OFDM signal, and acquires the additional information corresponding to the number of groups according to the DFT size from the OFDM signal. The present technology can be applied to, for example, transmission and reception of the OFDM signal.-

The present technology can be applied to, for example, a demodulation IC incorporated in a television receiver or a set top box.
