摘要: Methods, computer programs, information handling systems, and state machines for performing an atomic write to a data block area are disclosed. The atomic write is an in-place write> The method includes receiving one or more data blocks to write to the data block area; and for each data block received: writing the data block to the depot slot; and writing the data block to the data block area after the data block write to the depot slot is completed.

摘要: A system and method for communicating a data file is described. The system includes at least one particular node, a source component, a node identifier request, a query, an encrypted data file and a node decryption key. The node identifier request is communicated from the source component to the particular node. The unique node identifier is communicated from the particular node to the source component. The encrypted data file is generated by the source component. The encrypted data file is produced with an encryption algorithm that utilizes the unique node identifier to generate an encryption key. The node decryption key for the node device is also generated by the source component utilizing the unique node identifier. The encrypted data file is then communicated from the source component to the particular node. The encrypted data is decrypted at the node with the node decryption key that corresponds to the particular node.

摘要: A method, computer program, and computer system are disclosed for indexing database table rows. A first set of one or more columns of the database table is chosen. A second set of one or more columns of the database table is chosen. An index record is generated for each unique result of applying a second function to a value corresponding to the second set for the database table rows. In each index record, only a single copy of each unique result of applying a first function to a value corresponding to the first set for the database table rows having the result of applying the second function to a value corresponding to the second set for that index record is included. The first set is not identical to the second set. At least two rows of the database table rows have the same result of applying the second function to a value corresponding to the second set and have the same result of applying the first function to the value corresponding to the first set.

摘要: The embodiments provide devices and methods that both strengthen the bone and stimulate the bone. Bone fractures or non-unions are stabilized, integrated or healed, which results in reduction of a bone defect, such as a bone marrow lesion or edema. In addition, the distribution of forces in a joint are restored or altered to relieve pain. In general, a joint is evaluated by taking an image of the joint and one or more subchondral defects are detected. At least one of the subchondral defects may be diagnosed as the source of pain and an extent of treatment for the subchondral defect is determined. The disclosed devices and techniques are particularly suited for treating chronic defects or injuries, where the patient's natural healing response has not resolved the defect. The present disclosure also provides several exemplary treatment modalities for the different extents of treatment needed.

摘要: A system and method for embedding a watermark into a data file and communicating the data file to a particular node from a source component is described. The system includes a particular node, a source component, a node identifier request, a query, a watermark, a permutation key, an encrypted data file, and a node decryption key. The node identifier request is communicated from the source component to the particular node. The watermark is then embedded into the data file by the source component. The permutation key is configured to permute the watermark and the permutation key is changed so the location of the watermark changes. The encrypted data is decrypted at the particular node with the node decryption key that corresponds to the particular node. The particular node recovers the watermark from the data file with the permutation key.

摘要: A method, computer system, and computer program are claimed for selecting rows from first and second tables each having rows containing values in columns. In at least the first table, the rows are divided into partitions at least one of which is populated by one or more rows. The method, computer system, and computer program include creating a plurality of partition contexts, each partition context corresponding to a populated partition and storing at least a first value associated with a row. The lowest first value stored by the partition context is determined. Rows with a particular first value are identified by reading the partition contexts, creating a temporary file context corresponding to one of the partition contexts, the temporary file context including location data for a data block of rows in memory, and reading rows in memory.

摘要: A database system includes a plurality of storage modules, with a first storage module storing rows of a first table and a second storage module storing rows of a second table, and a plurality of access modules adapted to manage access of respective storage modules. A first access module corresponds to the first storage module, and a second access module corresponds to the second storage module. The first access module is adapted to distribute rows of the first table to the second access module in response to a join request, and the first access module is adapted to further distribute row identifiers with the distributed rows. The distributed rows contain one or more columns that are part of one or more join conditions of the join request, but does not contain one or more columns that are in a specified result list of the join request or that are part of a subsequent operation specified in the join request.
